I bought this phone for my job, non-camera zone etc. Very simple phone. Excellent for making calls and sending SMS.
So basic that the calendar entry only supports up to 20 entries. For a work phone, simply excellent. If only the calendar supports more entries and views, this would have been a great phone.
For the price US$26, whats there to complain about. Almost like a disposable phone.2 thumbs up for nokia.

I bought one and later a few more for others. Long battery life, simple phone servesthe need for calling and text message. Time announcement useful at night big lettering good for older folks reliable. Mine is China made

Here we can only buy nokia 1280 made in India. The phone's life span can never exceed 6 months. Common problems: no display, no backlight. Awful phone. Can anyone tell me if he has a nokia 1280 that was not made in India and how long it has lasted so far?

so cheap in term of price i got one for RM60 in malaysia. good backup phone. battery last way longer then my sony ericsson neo. Lol...

excellent mobile . . .i hav been using since 2weeks . . .gud battery backup .. .dudes do not shy to buy nd use as it is a basic mob . . .in my view it is da best among all other basic mobiles . . .no issues till nw exept screen lite is sumwat low . . . no option fr more brightning scren light . . .dats da only thng i found . . .overall it is best fr who want fr call nd msg purpose nd text typng is so fast, gud keypad i love it. . .go fr it . . .

Perfect for text messaging and voice calls which is what a true mobile phone should do! I love it. I did away with my iPhone4 and got two of these. My life is simple now.
