as my experience on this phone
> sometimes its reboot it self
> Keypad are good looking but cons for those who have blessed with large thumb (all pad are flat with no allowance or emboss pad, will accidentally press the other keys
> on creating a message, when you already make a story telling text msg(exagg)and you want to delete a certain paragraph, the text deletion cannot follow on the pressing speed, so slow to adapt
> No WAP (of course)
> You can loudspeaker the radio if you have only connect the handset (otherwise is it in call mode)
> Need to connect a handset to play radio
> it has usb port but no internal memory to store for data's,
> Usb port is use for what?

When it comes to prepaid phones, manufacturers make mostly entry level handsets. Nokia 1661 is a basic phone from T-Mobile. There is nothing special about the design and this device is made just for making calls. I won’t recommend using this as your primary phone simply because it is seriously lacking in features.

Worst product ever to come out of Espoo, and maybe the worst cellphone in the world, period.
Brand new (T-Mobile USA). Attempting to access ringtone menu results in reboot.
Then after a few months of intermittent use it asked for security code (default 12345) even though security was not enabled. It then reset itself to factory default and in the process lost several of the themes. No way to restore them without any kind of connectivity (other than flashing by a tech, not worth it for a $20 phone).
Now it asks for security code on every power-on (again, none enabled), and resets to defaults each time so no point in setting any preferences. Does not alert for incoming sms, and the clock isn't setting itself correctly from the network. Periodically and randomly pops up an alert/error message to "check network service" or somesuch, don't recall the exact wording--even though it's getting signal.
About the only thing it's good for at this point (until this function craps out, too) is the FM radio.
Even if it was working ok, the sms memory is way too small, I find myself having to delete msgs which I want to save for sentimental reasons (and no way to backup without connectivity) to make room for more incoming.
Piece of rubbish.
