Excellent phone - no excessive poncey features just a nice simple fast operating phone, in the UK Orange supplied with a humungous battery, life (allegedly) 17 days standby/6 hours talktime.
Not every user needs Surf / Walkman / Video features in a phone - Get over it !

this phone is suitable for Philippine users... under budget and boring phones. by the way there's no use on buying 3G phone in the Philippines cuz 3G network is not yet fully released, it only spells one thing and that is no more budget for upgrading the network.... too bad!

I have a 2Mp phone, witj mp3, symbian and other stuff, but i use them only in first week.......All that i want is to have a phone that have no camera no symbian.....just a small phone, with radio and with good batery:)

You guys really need to realize and read what nokia is trying to accomplish here. I agreee with the response below (me). This phone is for those people who really dont use up any other features but to make an outgoing and recieve calls. People, quit whyyyning, and and crying over this model, jesus! If you dont like it, it's not meant for you, dont bother buying or commenting on it. Because your comments are just plain stupid.

what is it people dont get about this phone this is phone designed for people who just want to make calls and send texts also people working to a tight budget. good on nokia for not forgetting these people who just happen to make up 40% of the mobile phone market why are you people even looking at this phone since your all obviously loaded and want something top of the range go and look at the likes of the N90 and leave this lovely little basic phone alone

This is crazy shame. This phone supports mp3 but it has no infrared no bluetooth no usb. How u can put mp3's on it. Damn!!!

there is no 3mb space n no mp3 player.
like in 1110 n 1600 they said its 4 mb..but therz no 4mb space in them.
now see in 2310 there is no infra,bluetooth,usb port then how to put data into mobile to fill up the 3mb.
the answer is therz no 3mb space.
there will b mp3 ringtones like 1110 n 1600 have..just 3 or 4 mp3 ringtones..nothing more

nokia is smart ,they have phones for everyone's desire and needs.therefore they have phones for the rich$$$$ ,the middle income and not forgetting the lower income , & nokia does it in style. there is a saying,"don't put all your eggs in one basket"

yeah. joke, not phone. small? is this small? only features are terrebly small. 105mm is not small. it should be 90mm...
nokia is non-sence company. this phone has no sence. price? i hope under 50$ - but i'm sure 150-200 in reality. it's.... sad :/

It's terrific and impossible to understand how nonsense a top leader company like Nokia and its engineers design and release such a primitive phone in this age.It's nothing than a cell phone. Oh, My Lord !

why does everyone keep bagging nokia about their new basic phones?? If you want a flash phone with mp3 player, mega pixel camera and all that buy one.. but there are heaps of people out there that can't afford or don't want phones like that. Why would people pay for stuff they don't need or what.. everyone who is dissing nokia get over yourselves ok.

This is a good little phone from nokia. It is basic and great for a 1st phone or for older people or for emergencies. It has mp3 ringtones which is good. Lots of people love having their fav song as their ringtone. I think a lot of parents would love this phone for their children. Its cheap and no camera which is great for schools and some work places as cameras aren't allowed. I reckon good on nokia for bringing out some basic phones that look modern and are not so expensive
