Infuriating counter-intuitive need to press top button in with plastic nib then run fingernails/ fingers around stretched up back cover to "force" the bloody thing open.
Sim holder
Press down on the vertical metal tab and slightly in to release the catch.
I swear Nokia should hire me to rewrite their instruction book with their instructions like "...remove back cover" and their hopeless graphics.

But you can get viruses by means of some "free" infected Java-applications from(first of all suspicious) web/wap sites. Those Java-based viruses are types of SMS-cheating, Trojan-SMS and so forth.
In the most cases you all you need is to delete those Java-apps. Or by restoring your phone you sweep out all malwares...

the best phone i ever saw in a non camera models.
it supports full functional html opera brower-bluetooth n also supports indisms to sent text messages in indian languages.very nice battery backup. what u can get at this cheap price. thanks to nokia after longtime released such a nice phone.

I find that the built in speaker is not clear. I got a friend to try it and he agrees. I took it back to the shop and they said it was normal. I had a much cheaper phone before the 2323 but it was clearer. I wonder if only I have a faulty phone or if other people agree that this phone's speaker is not so clear.

Can I sync my messages to nokia pc suite via bluetooth?
Or any other s/w to do that? I need a backup of my messages. zyb works for contacts but I need something for messages.

okay this going to sound really dumb, but please help...I cannot for the life of me remove the back cover! I press down on the button on the top as the instructions show, but I cannot in any way pry the darm thing open! Can someone give me some tips?? Thanks.

Its a great phone. It looks very cool and is very sturdy too. Its one of the best mobiles within Rs. 2500. The battery backup is also great. The speaker is very loud. The FM is also loud and clear and has recording facility. But the headphones supplied with it are rubbish. The HS47 would have been a good match. The internal memory(10MB) is quiet low but enough for keeping a few good wallpapers, ringtones and themes. It comes with preloaded opera mini browser which is awesome for browsing. The OS is very good and user friendly and never hangs. It also has bluetooth facility. In short its the best mobile if you want to talk, text and browse the internet. Go for it!
