I just gifted 2600 Classic to my mum today and she really liked it. I would rate it as a mobile which is significantly in an affordable price considering the features though i am not very impressed with the image quality but i would quote it 7.9 overall. Looks are good :)

Purchased a protective carring case with my brand new nokia 2600 classic. the case had a detacable clip that stay on your belt. The back of the case has a round clip.I had to put phone away suddenly, and being a human put phone in my front pants pocket. Phone rings, reach in my pocket and when pulling the phone out the round clip cought the seem of the top of pocket, and then grasping tighter to prevent phone slipping from finger tips, and broke the LCD screen by pinching it...if you ask me they need to toughen up on a phone that if you pinch it it breaks...was only 17 days old...NICE PIECE OF CRAP !

I've been using a nokia phone for a decade now and im use to have a slider phone but i found this particular phone in the web and it looks cool but im hesitant to purchase this one because of the keyspads. And I also check user's opinion regarding this phone, until now im still thinking if i would buy this one or the samsung m600.
What's the usual problem that this phone have aside from gettingg slow sometimes and incorect timezones?

All in all this is a good budget phone. I have been using it for 6 months and i am a satisfied user. It comes for 3000 INR and I guess you get more for what you pay.
The only problem that this phone has it that it is slow. Otherwise it's pretty good.

> In reply to HAMMAD @ 2009-09-09 10:06 from uW5sIt has an inbuilt memory of 10MB. Which means, you use lesser in one area (say your gallery area takes lesser space) you get more sms' saved in your inbox. And vice-verse of course.
You can't really allocate how many messages you can save. If you use the most minimum amount of space for other stuff on the phone, the more sms' you can have in the inbox. I have gone up to 400 sms' in my inbox. Then again, I hardly save pictures, videos or other stuff on it. Hope that helps!
