I have always only used Nokia cell phones and have been very happy with them.
But this model 2610 is a real disaster and I am considering the option of throwing it directly to the garbage (I've been suffering for 6 months with this phone):
first of all, it is EXTREMELY slow, browsing the menus, writing sms, switching it on(around 30 seconds) is a real pain in the a**
Secondly, the contrast of the screen is awful: it is impossible to see anything on the screen with daylight.
Yet, the network reception is good.
I was extremely pleased with the 3120 but 2610 is just garbage. Avoid it!

Very small, nice design, no problems with volume or key size as other have stated. Only had it for two days, so we'll see after a couple of months. Great signal and call quality so far, no surprise. Will try to come back in a while and leave more insight.

how can it be connected with computer? how can it be formated? also if i go to ring tone if i click on down load it will hang pls what should i do?

nokia 2610 is a good mobile for sms but it has less moemory for mp3 tones and no radio it makes it bad
its refuses to break its good point as all nokia's set have this quality

I have just bought this 4ne refurbished and it wok fine so far. Am already in love with it and it's also been faithful so far:
- Outlook is cute.
- Screen display ok though not so clear in bright sunlight.
- Have black colour which looks so cool.
- Light and comfortable with its rubberfelt casing.
Formerly had a 2630 which was so uncomfortable in
grip as its so thin and light, tending to slip out
of hands.
- Memory is ok for me as long as I had enough room
install Bible.
- Iam yet to establish my battery life. But so far doing fine.
- Very clear and audible earpiece.
All in all I give NOKIA guys 90 percent for the
2610 ! I also recomend it to all guys in need of a simple 4ne with no fuss about radios, cameras, bluetooth & memory cards.

I've had my 2610 for about 29 months - a record for me. Ive had samsung and motorola that all worked less than a year. nokia 2610 refuses to break, despite being dropped on concrete, tiles, thrown across rooms, etc. it also has strong signal, and i frequently receive mms and sms from friends. ive talked with it about 270 hours and sent 2700 sms and still the battery and keypad are in good condition. its a perfect rhone if u consider functionality!

this is on of the sillyest looking phones that has ever been ordered,its a good phone 4 a 2yr old

I have it for 3 years now and I can say that it's a good phone: good signal even in remote areas, very good battery life, it lasts 7 days if you talk about 10-15 minutes a day. For me, these are the characteristics for a basic phone.
