Used the phone for about 4 months now. A genuine, simple hand phone. Much like previous Nokia 3100 hand phone I had.
Only 2 complaints:
- Screen is difficult to see outside in daylight.
- The arrow buttons are too small and a bit difficult to hit.

last night i talked for like 4-5 hrs, battery got dead and i was feeling too lazy to charge it so left it as it was. when i woke up, the fone had switched off. i put in the charger lead, but the phone just wont start though the battery is charged now.
i use keypad lock, and had around 1900 msgs in inbox, free mem was nearly 30kb.
whn i switch it on, animation passes and it asks for unlock code. and after that phone doesnt start and switches off aftr some time
any help guys?/?
thanks!

Good battery charge life. Extremely poor daylight readable/usable screen. Did the Nokia engineers even try to use this phone outside in the daytime? Nokia should either offer a fix and/or fire the jokers responsible. How can a company advertise or try to sell a product that you cannot use except in the dark? Perhaps they had vampires in mind? Nokia should be capable of better than this. How many people would buy or drive a car that you could'nt read or see the gauges/dials/meters on ???

Nokia 2600 has a message sending option of sending the message at a later time. You set the time and it automatically sends it at that moment.
What is want to know is that does e70 also hae this feature and are there any other sets with this particular feature.
And does it have a spreadsheet?
Cheers

Its the best phone I've ever come across. I ditched nokia 6600 because it was heavy and big sized. I am very comfortable with nokia 2610. GPRS is faster as compared to nokia 6600 (my personal experience). I use opera mini smoothly. The design is overwhelming and is very comfortable to hold. The only drawback is that you can't assign a ringtone to a contact. You need to create group first and then assign a tone to it. This feature has made me very very angry. Otherwise its a very good phone.

Got it as an upgrade when my nokia 3120 died. This is no good - can't see the screen in sunlight, menu is slow, and it makes a loud beep that's heard on the other end when switching to speaker. Sending it back.

Unable to see the display in direct or indirect light, or even inside an automobile during the day. Will replace as soon as possible. Cingular misrepresented the features.

Have it on Orange pay as you go for about a week now.
PROS - nice to look at, good value at £25 from the Orange shop, signal quality and audio performance good.
CONS - screen not very bright at all, menus pretty slow to navigate and a lot of basic functions are not easy to use, predictive text messaging is a fiddle, phone book contacts put last name first, about 3 different power saving modes that all seem to do the same thing and can't be turned off anyway?
After owning two basic Nokias on pay as you go now - last was was a 3120 - I have found both to be awkward to use and no way near as simple as my old Sony J5! Wish the keypad hadn't worn out on that one!

i love 2610.
It is a very smart-looking phone where it looks more expensive than it really is.
This phone suits to those who are simple yet with good taste.
Long lasting battery. (whooh!!!)
Simple phone for a simple you.
It's my baby Jhian's phone and I'm using it right now.
