I just bought a nokia 2610.Nothing has been said about battery charging time in the manual.

This phone would have been the BEST economic phone nokia ever made, IF, IF only it would have a FM Radio!!!!!!!

phone is nice... i am using it for more than 15 days.. its worth for money.,.. fetures r dam nice...
nice battrey realy good ! handy cheap smart n featurs..
one word- worth buying !

Before using this phone, I used Nokia 3100. This phone is fabulous. I bought it last week with the FBUS 6030 series cable and d/load MobiMB Browser and I found that Hardy's tips works well with my phone and PC... I suggest Nokia 2610 to all who have limited budget but wanted a good phone... well, it don't have many function, and its speaker it not perfect with mp3 format but it satisfy me... my friends also jealous with me who have nice handphone with less cost...

Att:Mr Argentina,You can connect the phone via the "easy flash cable" and "Mobile media browser" software.Not a bad fone i think...............

I got the Nokia 2610 two days ago and I have to say: I like it very much! It's the successor to my SonyEricsoon K700i. Why do I like the 2610 more than the K700i: Gigantic standby time (played around A LOT and not even one of those capacity marks disappeared. 2 weeks standyby time with only one charge really seem to be realistic.

I just bought my Nokia 2610 last week and so far I'm enjoying it. It may be a basic cellphone but it sure packs a lot of good features, the phone menu is animated (kinda reminds me of my Sony Ericsson K750i but the difference is that the icons on the Nokia 2610 is animated all the way! Cool move by Nokia) And it's MP3 capable, though it's kinda hard for you to upload MP3 tones but its built-in MP3 tones are superb! It's Nokia's basic phone with an edge. Although I've experienced one glitch with my unit wherein it suddenly restarted on its own, it only happened once and I hope it doesn't happen again. The hardware system (?) is kinda slow since the unit I got has a version 3.1 system, so expect your unit to react a bit slow than usual. But in general, my opinion about the Nokia 2610 is that it's great, it's affordable and it's a basic phone that packs a lot of cool new features that will definitely bring a smile to your face.

ya it works wid mobiMb n FBUS serial cable..
well about j300...no dear...its much better than dat..
u know wat...it can store almost 5000 sms ...i have rite now 3720 sms n even then i have plenty of space left...so its better if u ppl buy this one..
messging in awsome in this mobile..
an excelent set in this price

About the transfer-It works! I use a 6030/6060 data cable and MobiMB software (after version3). You can drag&drop items such a logo, ringtones, java games etc. It is a simple and beautiful phone with a low price :)))

I think this is another great phone after 1110 and 1112, upgrade version of those two phone. Better keypad, better battery, better messaging (now with email & flash messaging).
But can anyone tell me..., this fon have slow or fast respon?? I've 6030, and this fon very slow, i dont like that, i'll change 2 2610 if 2610 not slow.

Very nice look,user friendly, good colors, battery talk time is marvel.I think it is an ideal low-profile cell phone.Available for just US $100 in Asia Pasific.It's shared memory enable us to store more msgs.
