DON_PK: the BL-5C 1020 mAH battery is the most powerful nokia battery yet, AFAIK. the 1110/1112 batteries have less power, and would probably not even work. i tried my 1112's battery which is a BL-5CA on my 2626 and it did power up but it wouldn't recharge. i don't understand why your battery would only last for a day. the only possible reason i could think of is poor network signal, which uses a lot of power.
asif: u can download nokia games at www.dotsis.com and install them in your unit using a third party FBUS cable and MobiMB software. i'm afraid i have deleted my MobiMB installer but u can google a cracked version of it.

to asif: you can save as much as a thousand SMS in the Nokia 2626, probably even more. it really depends on how much free user memory u have left in the phone. the more messages u have saved though, the slower the phone becomes. that's why i always empty my folders when they have reached over 300 messages.

to yetti: nokia 2626's software is better than 6030 because it is Series-40 2nd edition while the latter is 1st edition only. s40 2nd ed. has introduced a lot of improvements in functionality. trust me, i have had both phones. =)
to DON_PK: did your nokia 2626 unit come with a BL-5C 1020mAH battery? my phone came with one of those and it's power lasted for ages. there are variations of the BL-5C battery that have less power such as 870mAH and even 700mAH. you probably have one of those low-power batteries.

this is my best Nokia ever. battery is superb, it lasts for 4 days when i'm sending 200 sms a day. when it's just on standby however, it can last for for up to 10 days at a full charge. network signal reception is great. it manages to get at least 2 signal bars in areas where all my others phones would be dead (1110, 1112, 1600, 2310, 3110c, 6020, 6030, 6300, 7610, n73, v3... yeah i have had lots of phones lol!) design is very pretty and durable. i have had mine for 3 months and it still looks brand new. the 2MB user memory is enough to store a thousand messages. when using extra small font, it can display up to 7 text lines. using a 3rd party USB cable and a software called MobiMB i am able to install applications and games and store a few MP3 ringtones and wallpapers. LCD is ok, better than the 2310/1600/1208. Radio is also ok. the only things i don't like much about it are the below average loudspeaker clarity, and slow interface, although it's tolerable and u get used to it after a while. i highly recommend it to anyone who is in search of a cheap, basic, durable and very functional phone. 5 stars!
