To SAM! - thanx for your suggestions, I agree 2630 is better than the other two when specs are compared and probably more worth the money. I want to buy this phone, but some of the comments keep on reminding us about the phone being SLOW. is it so painfully slow and weak?

I'm thinking of buying this phone but I want to check two things first.
1. Many people say it's slow. What exactly do you mean by slow and how slow is it? And is it always slow or does it just slow down on some applications?
2. does it have a usb cable or something? Is that what it's called? The thing you use to connect it to the pc?
would really appreciate your replies guys. thanks!

Don't try if you don't want trouble. I bought Nokia 2630 2 months back and I just sent for repair 2nd time yesterday. Key pad is having intermittent not functioning. Just imaging new hand phone 2nd times key pad problem and worst is when I sent back the shop, the key pad is functioning, when I use it, PROBLEM! Cannot unlock the key pad, cannot press back key....

I just brougth this phone last week,i download just two music through bluetooth while i snap/take pictures to store it in folder or in phone and saying that memory is full mean what p/s help me because i brougth it for someone as birthday gift not to give her a problem just her not to say is a fake phone.

just download the lastest nokia pc suite, it comes a long with sms manager, and u just need 2 connected ur 2630 2 ur pc.

This phone is the cheapest among all nokia bluetooth phone. I think you can't expect so much with this price.
I need a sms manager for this phone (read sms on pc), anyone can suggested me what software can i use?

I am interested in buying this phone. will anyone who is using it tell me whether i can put reminders for various jobs in a day. and does the TO Do feature has an alarm feature also.
Actually i am a forgetful person and need to put reminders or TO do lists with alarm.

this phone is quite small and sleek and is good for calling, if this phone would have memory card and MP3 player it would be rocking but it doesn't have these. its interface is same to nokia 3500 and features are also same except mp3,memory card and usb cable
but i like this phone

Thanx for the info on data cable. However, yesterday I found another issue-the code on my battery could not be authenticated through official Nokia webpage, meaning it could easily be non-original, although it says Nokia on the label, and has the hologram on it! Has anyone checked their codes? Please, do so, as it seems there are large number of fake batteries out there, which could eventually damage the phone and leaves you without warranty. If you go to Nokia webpage, you will find instructions how to check the authenticity of your battery.
Also, there's no FCC ID code on the label inside my phone, underneath the battery, which could potentially indicate some obscure and intraceable origin of the phone.
Anyone having the same problem?

i am useing the nokia 2630 its owesome!
just 2 things i don't like:
1. very slow ; 2. it make noise when the screen backlite is on

I was about to buy this but after seeing above comments i have changed my decision. This mobile is also expensive in sense of its specs.

I bought yesterday in HCM-VN price 112usd, though i firstly compared 6070 only 90usd, but i prefer slim one, generally it is good, i am not particular with small details of it, only i strongly desire for the loudly nice ringtone !
Is there any replacement of the battery from 700 to bigger number such 890mah or 1020mah

It has Data Cable and in Pakistan it's worth is 170rs. only.
Let me tell u that nokia's many mobiles works slow but not too much slow that people thought.
First and most important thing abt noka is that it is RELIABLE than any other mobile.
I have this phone and its battery life is good and i love it.

1-does this phone have loudspeaker(yes it have and it's good enogh to hear). 2-hows picture quality(it's good). 3-did bluetooth works good on it(yes it does work very good. 4-what is the basic reason of purchase this mobile?(the phone is very slim and it got bluetooth and battery life time is very good also and in the last the look is goood)
