just got Nokia 2630..it's so lovely n slim.i lyk it.Though d CPU is slow n d battely life is short compared to other Nokia brands..But all d same..Dis fon is Da Bomb..

Nice little phone, however, there are few features that can be annoying, e.g. while the keys are generally well spaced and easy to press, they feel somewhat too flat, nad sometimes it's hard to distinguish between them by just touching them; you need to actually keep an eye on them all the time while typing a message. Also, the display for writing a new message is a bit crowded with additional commands, so you only see the first row of text, unlike older Nokias, where there was an entire blank screen for entering text. I guess it's just a matter of getting used to that.

SMS storage is as much your memory go, you have about 15MB of memory,
so that will be above 1,000 sms

and about the Sound, it is not too loud if you use the hands free.
the quality is very good, very cristal clearn. but just soft, quite low volume...
but the speaker in the phone is loud as any other phone.

dodolom, I bought it in bangkok, i live here.
It cost me about a 115 USD. quite cheap... online I see about 200 USD.
It comes with the earphone+mic cable (the hands free)
GPRS is edge class 10, but 177.6Kbps.
i can get like 100Kbps (12K/s)
it has a mini USB connection, like those cables for digital camera.
and so slim, only 1.0cm
love it.
maybe I should start selling it in ebay.

thanx Mr. Yasir Shah, well i have warid's sim, n i hope its also work well wid this set, by the way, tell me the how many sms we can save in this phone, becoz currently i have Nokia 1112, n it have only just 60 to 70 sms's capicty. so kindly tell me !!

Nokia 2630
When I make any call from this handset the voice quality is too good. I am using ufone sim card but i don't know about voice quality of this phone at other networks sim card.
This phone is good but only one problem is that the phone display miner lines in pixel. When i purchase this phone from market the dealer asked me about this set that this is a manufacturer fault. the Dealer show me the other nokia 2630 handset which has the same problem. When we tak pictures from this handset the lines displayes in pixel.
Sound quality is good.
GPRS Working Good.
Bluetooth not working well with the samsung handsets. When i exchange data with any samsung handset, its gives problem in connection with samsung handset.
Smarty phone, nice look, low weight, battery time is good.

Hey Fred, where did you purchase this phone in the US? I contacted Nokia customer service and they told me that I can only buy it at Nokia Stores which are available in NY and Chicago and when I called them, they said they don't have it in stock yet but they are waiting their order to come in at any time.
I wanted to know the price but you are saying it is 110-130? How do u know this?

I connect to the internet on my Macbook by bluetooth and the GPRS Edge on my phone... really Rocks
it's a 110-130 USD phone.

Hi, I have just bought this phone and find it a great phone to use. What is the recomended time for the battery to last? I might get two days out of it. But I love the feel of it and how small and thin it is.

I recommend you to buy Nokia 2630. It is worth to buy as the phone memory is with a lot of good function, such like 10 MB internal memory, big sms storage (unlimited, as long as you have free internal memory, 1 MB = 1000 sms), bluetooth (very good features which allow you transfer and receive the mp3 you like), big storage phone book (1000 entries!), 65k colour display screen, compactible camera (0.3 MB) and video record, yea, definitely, it is so slim, just 9.9mm, very nice of its design!..... It's really worth to buy for those who prefer user-friendly handset. I guarantee you will be satisfied for purchasing it! he price is just 30% higher than Nokia 2610.

Hi frnds, I bought this ph 3days ago. It don't show call timer during conversation. The call summary after call ends & call duration from call log are working fine. Can anyone tell me whether CallTimer is missing or there is a way 2 enable this?
