many here have troubles with that phone not me only
as i said before the service center in my town only received more than 15 case(phone problems) in less than 6 days
and the waranny didnt want to change the phone model
can you tell me what can i do to got my rights back

i got that phone on 10-8-2008 for 665 egyptian pound and from that day i have many trouble in that phone
the big problem is restarting
the second is in the sound he always ring in ascending mode even when i set ringing type to ringing its ringing in ascending mode
i back it to the servies center and told them all the troubles and i want to replace that model with another one casue its still new and i had problems with it in hte first 2 weeks and i bought a new phone not to fix it
i wirte down my requst and take the number of my case
on the net i cheked on my case number and the numbers after and numbers before and see the big surprise
the branch of the service center recevies more than 15 cases all of them have problems in nokia 3110c in period of 6 days
see
one branch only have more than 15 case in 6 days so what about others branchs in my country
i sent emails to nokia and the company of grantee telling them i want to replace that model with other model and waiting now for the replay
and if they didnt answer i will go to ploice i didnt want my money i want to let these companies know how to respect the customers

the restart problem comes with the phone and theres nothing you can do about it. im using 2gb miniSD and have almost 400 songs saved. my phone restarts everytime i update the music library. what i do to stop the restart problem, i move a file from my phone memory, let the phone restart, when it opens again, i move a file from my memory card to phone memory and for some reason, it works for me. phone restarts again 2 to 3 times then stops and everything gets back to normal.try it, it might work for you as well. upgrading the phone version doesnt always work. im still trying to figure out how i could solve the restart problem for good. but i hope nokia is doing something regarding this problem. theres really something wrong with how this phone was made, but i still love it..

FEATURE PACKED nokia phone at a low price?
problematic set i've ever used :(
my phone continuously restarts and finally turns off
when updating.
updated software 3 times.
after one year of using this phone i sold it and bought se w200i
i used 5 sets of nokia. every set was outsatnding!
but this 3110 is the worst one.
it has alot of features.
what will u do with ur features if u cannot use them?

I bought this set in Nov'07. I used a 1GB micro SD as I had planned a vacation and loaded music mp3.Within 3-4days, on switching on,the screen saver appeared then became blank( white).this cycle went for 3- 6 times before phone was automatically switched off.switching on again repeated the same sequence.I took the phone to Nokia Care.They first blamed the sim card and insisted upon it.but I showed them it works fine with my E61i and Alcatel basic sets.Reluctantly they took the set and the next day I got back the phone, the reason of fault was not disclosed but they told me NOT to put 1GB card ( Nokia spec. is 2GB !!for this set !! ). I had to put a 256 MB(Nokia's card) only. It was working fine until few days back when the same problem was repeated.I then backed up the card, 196 MB full, took the card out, restarted the phone. After few cycles it worked, but when I put the phone off , on restarting it takes few cycles to start working. Have I bought a junk ? Why Nokia care people contradicting the card specifications. Should Nokia compensate? I am a responsible citizen, pay my taxes and hold a mild, subdued position in the society as a physician.

My phone has been hijacked recently...hu hu hu. You people pls become alert about your phone. Becoz your phone also can be hijacked...who knows!!!

I had to set up a new folder in the memory card drive and store my songs in there. Somehow this worked, but I can't use my camera and save pictures anymore!!

i have a problem with my phone (or its memory card) i have a 2gb card and i only used 478b and now everytime i add new songs to my phone it's always fails... please help me...

Iv been using a 3110 for about 3 months now. No problems, long battery, easy to use. Its not flashy or partic high-tech, but its a solid, classic nokia and gets the job done

Hi, Thanks for all your feedback. I bought this phone 3 weeks ago. Its workin fine till now !!!!fingers crossed!!!! I wanted to know how to set call timers on this phone.... i checked out all the options Nokia provoides only call summary on this phone. If any body know how to set the call timer please lemme know. Thanks in advance.

SOS! SOS! SOS! My Nokia 3110c always restart. When ever the phone is switch off to restart it will be like magic, unless I remove the memory card. I have upgraded to version V6.01 but still not the solution. Can someone help me. This is the worst Nokia phone I have ever used. If you have any solution let me know. well friends.....you face on-off problem becoz the software provided with 3110 c do not support 1GB memory.....what u can do is get a free software update from nokia service centre and you won't face such problema anymore. i did it recently coz of same problem and now it works absolute smoothly.....
