hi guys i brought yesterday my 3110c phone. . . My software version is 6.01. So far it doesn't have a restart problem. . I'm glad that my version is 6.01. . . So far no problem updating it to 6.02
Thank you bro for your reply where in robinson galleria and SM megamall i can find nokia service care?????
i finally bought nokia 6267 yesterday with a price tag of php7749. so far so good, i think it now beated nokia 3110c for price feature ratio. hehehe.
for now, i will confirm if the phone really had a 3g modem because i only got gprs connection. i think the only confirmed 3g modem phone is the lg ku250 but unfortunately it is not available in smart. i haven't read about kg ku380 with testimonies of a 3g modem functionality.
as for the phones you've asked, i'm a practical guy, so i will be betting on 6120c. it is still a feature packed phone and by december, the price will really go down. nokia n81's best asset will be its n-gage functionality but n-gage games is quite pricey up to php3000 pesos, if you are a gamer.
as for now, i think this (nokia 6267) will be my last phone for now until it break down. = )
I think nokia 3110 classic should bring together the memory card to make it complete and comfortable, am going to buy one next week, even though... i think... it is still a great mobile phone...
I want this phone. it is of a decent price and im gonna get a memory card for it. i hope i shall not have the restarting problems so many of yous seem to be having :(
Hey Folks, aside from ownskin, can you give me other sites where i can download themes, coz in ownskin its quite few. Thank You!
Alright... Thank you poh!
You can go to SM Megamall and Robinsons Galleria... :)
Can anybody tell me from where I can download the latest firmware version of Nokia 3110 Classic? Or please give the download link. Nokia Software updater doesnt allow it to update and show that I have the latest version. But My firmware version is 5.50.
Sakhawat Elahi Shiblee.
better call this hotline 886-1234. That is the nokia hotline here in philippines.
where could I find the nokia care service here in manila, philippines???? I'm want to buy 3110 classic and i watch the video reviews and I really satisfied on this phone. . . it has a lot of good features for the price range of 5,000 - 6,000 pesos. . . I really gonna love this phone. . .
I guess it will cost you like.... 560 pesos? But sorry if i can't remember it exactly so it's more advisable if you bring money like 1000 pesos or so to be sure.
Thank you poh...
How much will it cost me for upgrading, if its warranty already lapses? Thank you!
the new firmware 6.02 is really stable guyz u just need to give it to nokia care and get it upgraded.it still has all the features and works super fast.even wit just 100 kb of free memory it was super fast wit a 1gb card, the only thing being the fast forward in video being slow.the memory card can hav any thing all the themes and all the java u can put gr8 budget phone gud batt life and now its very stable(verified on my own phone
The 3110c is a good phone. But it has restating problems with the memory card.I bought it last November.Mine has software version 5.5.But the version 6.01 is suppose to be good. The restarting problem is a manufacturing defect. Many exreience it.
Hey Fireball the big brother here! Hehehe.. Why are you giving up your phone? Anyway, Nokia 6267 is priced 8,049 pesos there in Manila? Well here in Cebu it is priced only 7,500 pesos at Audionet Digital and RC Goldline and it came with a 12 month Nokia Care Warranty and NTC Type Approval. Good luck with your new phone! Maybe i will buy a new phone but that is still far to imagine because it will be on December(my birth month) and on my list will be:
Nokia 5320 Xpress Music
Those are all music-oriented smartphones right? Hehehe.. What do you think is the best among this three?. And hey, how about Nokia 6120? You love to use your phone as a modem right?. Anyway good luck and hope that you will still be around the neighborhood.
well, this is to announce that i am retiring my nokia 3110c. hehehe. i gave it to my brother (with a little price tag. hehehe.) i am now using our good old nokia 7210 (he had this phone since 2002 and still no problems and no battery replacement yet). i am planning to buy nokia 6267 tomorrow, it is a best buy at php 8049 at mega cellular.
by the way, i had good time with this phone and i hope my phone will be better.
having said that, i will still be around at the neighborhood.
I brout nokia 3110c in month of january and i facing problem of restarting whenever i insert the memory card and i had given it to the nokia service center for 4-5 times they formated the software and given me but at this time i refacing this problem plz help me
Sorry for quite a late reply from my side..
Yeah i bought it for only 150 pesos and i'm not using the original Nokia adapter because it's not available here. I got it at a small stall inside the Maze on Metro Ayala..
Let me tell you the whole thing. It's really really hard to find that accessory here because last week, i went to SM City Cebu and decided to drop by at the Nokia Store and asked for the adapter and they said that they don't have stock and offered me the Nokia HS-40 Headset instead that costs 449 pesos to which they claimed must include the 3.5 mm adapter but at that time i wasn't able to bring my wallet with me so i didn't buy it. Then two days later, i went back to the Nokia Store in SM and demanded for the HS-40 headset because i was ready to buy it. But as it turned out, they have just figured out that it was already out of stock for a month already. So i went to the Nokia Store at the Ayala Center and asked for the adapter and they said that it is already out of stock. Same thing goes with the HS-40 headset. And the result was:
Nokia told me to go to Junrex.
Junrex told me to go to Nokia.
Well i guess it really doesn't matter whether you are using a counterfeit adapter or a genuine adapter. All i know is, it lets you plug-in 3.5mm earphones/headphones. And i guess Ash have said enough. Simply demand for an adapter that fits Nokia phones and there you go. :)
