nokia 3110 evolve is evolved from nokia 3110c,use some recycled material and more intelligent charger.as nokia 3110 c,nokia 3110 evolve is also a low end phone,so you cannot complain its screen and camera,it suits the users only want make a call

I have my 3110c, when i got this evolve as the name applied I can,t see what has evolve in it for its feature are the same and the audio wow.... so low

guys & gals this and other models would definitely cater to others. and this one and the other 3110 models are not old souls in fresh new skins. N95's and the likes maybe great but not everyone likes it. i for one don't like it because of the slide mechanism. but i could not say it's not good. what could be very unappealing to one may not be true to others. it's why all of them are making their model range wide every time and nokia is doing good in this aspect.

i cannot agree with you more Joe Black. except for the model name (classic vs evolve), color (gray vs black) and talk time (classic has longer) there are no big evolved feature differences between 3110 classic and this one. would any care to shed light. thanks.

First of all I am sure my benz would eat my bike for a snack.
Second there is a really good market for this phone. There are simply people who need a cellphone for it's features and not the fact that the camera is no good and the display doesn't match the size of my screen.
When it comes to comparison I see nothing new compared to the 3110 classic, in that aspect it's probably not such a good idea unless it replaces 3110 classic...

Their is a market for this phone, nokia has created it a long time ago.
many nokia/fans don't want all the features, but they want to pay for their phone, so this is excellent for nokia.
Also this is the first so called green phone. 50% of its cover is made by biostuff. so this one will have extra attetion from the media and the people who want as much green products as possible

Never really understand Nok's marketin strategy. There's no market for such a fone. Time to wake up Nok. (Intentionally dropped the ia cos it represents 'intelligent aspect' which nok has lost)

I find it amusing that people could rate this phone's performance when it's not even out yet (according to the specs page).

Sigh, Nokia's just repackaging old phones in new shells. Nothing new here...

This is an International Forum, people who say they r using are mistaken with 3110 classic its only the main frame made of revolving material waist has been reused. It should be out any time as nothing to be changed only body.

its the reality in business world where they like to juice out as many profit as they can out of crappy phones by distributing good features to all models so that people will have no choice but to buy not just one but many phones .... a crappy clever marketing strategy
