I LOVE THIS PHONE! Have had it for over 3years, it has NEVER let me down. Tough, reliable, user-friendly, durable. Hasn't got any of today's fancy features, but who needs them?? I've always used this phone for texting, and I send around 10,000 texts a month and this phone has never failed me.. Just recently (after 3yrs) the keys on the keypad have finally started breaking, but it's not a problem, I can still text on it. Battery has NEVER been a problem for me, I can charge it every 2 days, even after heavy use. The soft bit of the ON/OFF button is now non-existent, lol, as I'm sure every 3120 user understands, but I simply take the front cover off and push the metal bit down myself, not a problem! What with no ON/OFF button and the scratches on the front cover and the broken keypad, my 3120 could be just a shell but STILL work perfectly! Have dropped it and bashed it around countless times yet it still stays strong.. Recently a little knock on it will bring up the ol' INACTIVE SIM sign but after a few seconds it goes back to normal. 10/10 despite it's recent shortcomings, this phone deserves the highest rating.

If you need a phone and have no need or a camera or mp3 player in it. "This" is the phone for you. Its small, tough, and good looking. And the battery time is amazing. I had this phone for a couple of years, had dropped it on the floor and ground, got it wet, and no problems, and the battery was still good. Then I lost it in a bar somewhere. Best phone I've ever had! 9/10
There might be software problems on some, but mine was AOK.

what model is closest to the 3120? I understand the 3120 has already been discontinued. I need a phone that has the closest features to the 3120. Thank you.

I got this phone back in 2004 or 2005, and it still works great. It's really low tech compared to phones nowdays, no camera, mp3 ringtones, etc. But's it's so reliable and the battery lasts a long time. It's been such a good little friend!!!

I've been using this phone since 2004. The size and weight is just right for me. This phone is really simple (i almost bought an O2 the day i bought this unit) and has been good to me since it left its box.
I never had any major problem except the damage on/off button and can't detect the SIM card after a drop (yep, my fault). I overcome this by putting a small folded paper between the battery and the SIM card holder. The original battery is still good today with 3-4 days without charging (light use). It is really a good buy.

No regrets for this phone at all.For a small amount of money you are paying ,its worth is more than what you paid for! This phone will never DIE DOWN when you need it the most (very good for people who don't the have time to charge their phone at least for about 2 days!
Loud speaker is LOUD!!
Simple funtions but a GREAT DEAL!!!

I have been using this set for 2 years and it is excellent set although deficiency of important features like FM radio, memory expandibility etc.One fault of this set is the ON/OFF switch. It would be best set if the switch is made as a button like other sets.

I have used this for about a year. I can say, great phone. It didn't gave me a headache except for the Switch pad but it's okay. I have the repair man fixed it for me. I have lots of memories with this phone. I still miss I sold it for 800 bucks here in the Philippines.

This 4ne is readily available in our country. One could think it is still in production. I have moved around with a couple of 4ne brands Nokias and SEs, with cameras and video, bluetooth, memory cards,...and I've found myself returning to this 3120- a couple of times! Its a simple but classic 4ne - inside out!

I've had this phone for over 3 years now. It has it's quirks like non working vibration, shutting itself off, etc. But all of these problems are very rare. I also still have the original battery, and the call timer total says 945 hours of use. good phone
