This phone looks good.... i am a frequant typer in sms.. i type about 300 msges a day and i think the keypad of 3230 and 3250 is the same... 3230's keypad has one of the best keypad to type msg with... But the bad thing is that can my current software of 3230 be used in it?? cause the version is differnt... and i think they should really put flash and why the hel* do they change the card format... and it looks a bit thinker than 3230... i think if the keypad was detachable it will be even more cool...

umm i think nokia forgot to include 3G and some memory card problem right? how forgetful... mayb they will change the prototype.. if we can spot the mistake they can too..

Finally, a small symbian phone from Nokia.. this has to be my next phone!!When will it be realeased?im currently using Samsung Z500 w/c is also a great phone!!D best clamshell out there!

Wow...Nokia did it again...Never fail to suprise us techies!Bravo!...But the only thing is 'bout the camera,it is positioned at the bottom...(is it?)..So wen we hold it the camera wud get scratch or dirty...Nokia should design some camera cover...!Other than that,a superb fone...!

For people lamenting about this phone not having wifi, 3G and the like, please bear in mind that this is just a mid range phone and from the 3XXX series.
If you desire all those cutting edge technology, go get the N90 or N91 which I am currently using.
This phone is creative to me. But I'd never use a 3XXX series. It's too cheap beyond my means.

This phone can support at least 10 hrs mp3 playback and then another seperate 3 hrs talktime.

just glanced at battery times again how the heck can a 3hr time be enough for a music player..i have a 6630 with that 3hrr time and non stop got 5hrs 50 mins and battery dead thats no calls or ought else,,nokia get your batts up to panasonic standard!!nokia has got 3g with smarphone and music player running on a batterry 100ma more than my old mono siemens phone.surely its logic that more power drain needs bigger ma battery as truck needs a big disel engine not a 1000cc fiesta engine

WHAT IS SO SPECAIL ABOUT THIS PHONE?
What are you kids cheering about?
IS IT REALLY SPECIAL that in order to make a call from 3250, will take you 30 seconds to dial a #? Because they keypad layout is so upressed due to the small phone lengt.
I totally agree with a previous guy who stated that this 3250 has rediculous keypad layout!
I don't ever need a phone that has a basic function ( dialing #s )messed up!

what to say whole heartedly confused.
first i was verry happy that w550i was launched .thanks sony as for cheaper version so i can buy it.
now here is a competitior 3250.i hope its in nokia 32-- series so must be cheaper.
but 3250 is yes only a music phone only its not any near to w550i in the technology all sony is giving is so great the best camera with flash ,the W brand walkman ,the 3d engine for your great games,the great looks
but wait a second what the biggest think it is lacking is symbian operating system.
means i just stuck with these three things,
na in this matter I WILL GIVE FULL MARKS TO NOKIA AND WAIT FOR 3250.WELL PLEASE CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHATS ITS PRICE IN INDIA.
