the phone has great specs, but Nokia neeeeeds to hire new designers!! I love Nokia for it's simplisity and user friendlyness, but this phone is so...(sorry)...ugly! :(

oh my god! i juz asked sum1 from a nokia store here in the philippines, and guess wat, she said this 3250 will be available this month! whoow she's gotta be kidding!! nweyz better ask nokia phils. soon to confirm if the sales person was right. btw juz want to say this: sony ericsson's 262k screens doesn't look any better to a nokia 65k color screens (e.g. k750i vs 6230 [not with the i]) for me their quality are the same which only means nokia makes better screens than se's. one more thing let me rate sony ericsson's joysticks on their phones 1 to 10 (10 is the highest) of their accurateness i give them 3 TERRIBLE! Nokia's i give them 9 (specially the one's from 3230) i guess it's the same with this 3250! the best phone! better start saving...

Just my opinion...many people bashing Nokia phones do it just for the sake of it, they don't even look at the specs...eg the size is just about the same as the K750/W800...but nevertheless many people complain that is 'soooo f***ing huge'...

to doc. fyi, it's NOT heavy! are your hands made of paper? hello? 115 grams is a very light weight for a smartphone! you just don't have the right brain. and the right hands!

i think you'd better to wait for 3250, but depends on what function do you want, i dun recommend 7710 as a phone though (it really looks stupid if you put it on your ear, you'd better to use handsfree instead), 3250 is still better, at least it looks like a phone. for btw 6630 and 6680, you'd better go for 6680, it has a better feature (if you are looking for camera, although some ppl in the 6680 forum says the camera is not tat good, but dun worry, i got my fren who has that, and i see that the camera is good enough and it has flash). And 6680 has more colour too, so it is clearer. my cousin's fren has 6630, so i know which one is better.

btw, EDGE is only important to those who know how to use it, even if my phone only has GPRS, i dun really use it. Its not that necessary to have EDGE, unless you like to download with mobile (i prefer using my broadband internet, its 41 Mbps!! why would i bother EDGE?) as long as the phone last long, can make a call, can do SMS, good signal, so-so on camera or even better so that i dun have to use digital camera, MP3. Oh, btw, although nokia has MP3 player on their mobile for so long, they never intended to make music phone until walkman phone and Itunes phone release ^___^. thats wat i mean with trying to take over sony ericsson's market.. greedy nokia.

well then.. S700i has 256K before nokia like what? one year before? when S700i released, none of the nokia phone has the colour. When T610 has 65K, all nokia phones still running with 4K colour. Even if sony ericsson copying nokia in candy bar shape.. then What kind of shape do you expect for a mobile phone? candy bar shape after all is the standard shape of mobile phone lolx. What about dual design? the camera in horizontal and phone vertical? Sony ericsson already got the method from T610 (you able to take it horizontally because it has the button to capture on the side) and develop it further more in K700, reaches its peak on S700i, nokia copy this idea and create the nokia 6280!!! which is goin to be release soon, goshh!! about the internal antennas (i bet nokia is goin to copy the idea of sony ericsson to use EXTERNAL ANTENNA as part of the design like Z520 or W550 ^___^ soon enough, like maybe the next fashion phone by nokia?), if we go more and more.. after all its not one sided copy to the other side, but they all copying each other, its a competition after all. ^___^. Btw, if you look at the new nokia 6280, they pretty much like samsung D500 and T610 combined altogether with the old nokia 7650.

What a nice phone... this is the best for person who wants music.I believe it is more beautiful than sonyericsson W800.This is the best among the rest.Nice job for nokia.You catch the taste of people who wants music.

if you check, SE have copied nokia for a while now the first phone that SE had with fm radio was the S700i that came what? a year and a half ago, and they still lack of edge and low end phone, when nokia have had phones with radio and mp3 players from a long time now, then who copied?, from more over nokia was the created of the block/candybar design, sony ericsson just copied that and most of the other brand began using internal antennas

Yuck! no features... why only ou to 1 GB? It's heavy and big. the screen is horible!!!

SePH> You seem to get me wrong there my friend. I was not "dissing" either phone as they both have equally good an bad points between them. I myself am a Sony Ericsson user and, in the past have had Nokia's as well. I don't understand what this whole "my phone is better than yours" argument is all about - that's all. It makes no sense. And by the way - if I don't know anything why am I running a cellphone store out here?

what should i do with the "top technologies these days" in one phone if i have to carry around the charger!!!??? its like a ferrari with a 10 liters tank.

Just to let you know, SE are planning to release a p910 update. Either as a 3g version or as a more powerful competitor to the XDA & alike. All i can say is watch out for updates soon. As for this 3250 i think its a original design & i think it will do well when released. Some of you Nokia bashers out there need to realise that Nokia have more balls then SE & Motorola, they tweek the basic design of a handset & make it their own & make it stand out! When was the last SE or Motorola that made you take notice of its originality? V3? S700i? Or the 7280? Agreed the 7280 did lack the fuctions of other phones but for those that own it or have seen someone take it out of their pocket did everyone around at the time go 'WOW?!?!' Did the V3 & S700i do that? NO because they look the same as all the rest! The 3250 will turn more heads then the W800 or the I-Rokr! Nokia have BIG cahounez man!

Thanks gsmarena for the details of this fone. Seems like a 90% of a perfect phone ...no clue why they didnt pur IR port but thats acceptable.
Also I wonder whats QCIF video... how much different this format is and what are its drawbacks?
and one last question...does this twist thing bugs you while you try to type an SMS ? I hope the phone has some anti twist lock too which would stop it from getting twisted while you type sms.
All in all a perfect phone for a perfect price i would say.. got all the features of 6230i AND big screen AND Symbian 9.1 ,2MP camera , EDGE, MP3 tones 64 Polyphonic and External MMC support....what else can be perfect? Hope the phone will be released soon :)
