Nokia vs SE
Well its quite meaningless to have heated arguments in this forum over which brand rules. It may be difficult to determine which brand beats the other, cos each has its own strengths that some ppl may enjoy over the other..So.. Maybe we shud wait for 3250 to be out and reviews on this hp are done? Then we can better judge and compare phones.
Btw 3250 does not support 3G. Well ppl have questioned the absence of a Card slot in N91, so Nokia has put one in instead of a hard drive. Anw i think the twist design is q fresh and innovative. Clever design cos keypad and music buttons are on opposite sides. Plus a cam that can shoot in 270 direction. CooL..

Based on the spec sheet provided by GSM Arena, this looks to be a pretty impressive phone. Not entirely sure why it has to twist, but maybe there's something I didn't read. I sincerely hope it's not just form over function. Maybe having it twist makes the camera more stable in people's hands because you shoot with both instead of just one?

To all the users of twisting phones, how's the durabiliity? I always worry that the thing's going to fall apart -- I'm not a big fan of moving parts.

I agree with one of the opinions here, though: no matter the rest of the specs, this had better be a pretty good phone. Cameras and music and all that other stuff is great, but if I can't make a call with it, it's back to the payphone for me. :D

n3250 is the best compact music and also smart phone in a resonable price. Its starting price will $425. Comparing to w800i this phone sounds good. w800i has same old k700i firmware with little modifications. And n3250 has symbian OS 9.1 . Remember only n91 got it and no other phone has symbian 9 OS.

SE VS. NOKIA
To put things straight. I say it again nokia is no.1
And re: Sonyericsson. Sony became popular because of their TRINITON(CRT) & WALKMAN Trademark. Well done Sony. When speaking of TV(crt) Sony is the Best period. But not to Flat panel display(like DLP, Plasma, LCD), Toshiba, Samsung, SHarp dominated this segment. How about Digital Camera? OOPS!!! correction! not sony but CANON is the no.1. What else? AV receiver? i think onkyo or denon. And ericsson of course telecommunication. What im saying is we are talking about MOBILE PHONE/CELL PHONE NOT TV! NOKIA is the dominant brand in this category. NOKIA will not be the NO.1 if they are crap/poor in quality, design, durability, performance, features, service etc. Im a SE user back then but i switch to nokia because of the reasons above. I think NOkia knows the "KNOW HOW" in mobilephone technology.

Sonyericsson cant compete with nokia. why? the answer is simple!!! nokia is NO.1 IN THE WORLD(30%+ MARKET SHARE AND NO.7 MOST TRUSTED BRAND NAME).SE is what no.5 next only to LG. remember SE is a 50-50 jointventure between sony & ericcson. this move is to boost their competitiveness which sony is a giant electronic co. and ericsson in telecommunication respectively. these are 2 giant company but WHY STILL NO.5?

This is onne of the best phone because it has symbian that enable user to customer their need in their phone. It seems that the sound quality improvement is the plus point. I'm reallly looking forward the release of this phone.

Of course, like what you said is true. Nokia is some sort of copy cat in which apperently, their designers and developers totally exhausted of creating new ideas. Howevever, as an end consumer, obviously ppl choose the best prodcut that suite their needs rather than to identify weather or not the product is copied which you think it is totally unfair to other competitors.

What I'm trying to say is that nobady cares how the product is manufactured. Ppl only cares the specs of the prodcut.

You can of course disagree with me if you want. It's just my oppinion again. (as before)

As far as I believe, most customers will take the functionality into account. On the other hand, as for those who choose stylish, they should go for Samsung.

Hey Rami and kareeun,

I truly agree with both of you. For me, to choose a phone, I will go for the function. SE and even Samsung cannot compete with nokia (for the function). I really dun know why SE is soooo famous. If u ask me, I don't even keep track with the latest models as to I'm actually not so interested in it.

Please don't consider my advise in an offensive manner. It's just my opinion. That's what it is :)

Well, Nokia had a music phone first... Do not forget Nokia 5510 which had MP3 playback and FM radio. Already in 2001!!!

What about 3250... Time will show but it's quite innovative and the design is fresh. :)

btw.. nokia is trying to get sony ericsson's market now.. they copy the sony ericsson's idea of making the music phone (as usual, added with more feature) ^__^ what a lame... not creative at all.. plagiarism, too bad for nokia.

Nokia's done it again. Great style, superb features but looks too much like 3230. QCIF video is a minus and twist feature totally pointless. Likely to be a big seller nevertheless

stop comparing it with w800 this phone supports more formats, its funnier and a smartphone what does it means? that you can install programs int it! there are freeware or shareware alot of it to it and they are not expensive neither, that why it beats

sony ericsson ha smuch powerful camera than n90 then think of the comparison between w800i and 3250.the thing about 3g there is not 3g service presence in city where i live so no need of 3g function.w800i rocks . nath1z blowz do you compared them both in hands in 1 week and if you did you didnot compared them both properly.i compared them both thats why iam saying w800i is much better than 3250.i strees to buy w800i.nath1n blowz you only three differences between 3250 and w800i.stop it.if you donot know anything so stop saying anything bad about w800i.

nath1n blowz there is camera protection in w800i flash can play music minimal 20 hours its not what you saying twisting is not a major technology and other things that you were saying.w800i has not edege and big screen thats all.if you want to say about picture it doesnot matter on screen size and w800i has better camera than 3250 though n90.(you can learn small overview about 3250 and comparison between n90)it will tell you whats better.
