will be grateful if someone tells me why my fon jus switches off when the simcard is in, any simcard!

I got a prob with my phone guys, hope you can help. Whenever I put the simcard, the phone switches off by itself! The only thing I can think of is that its a virus, but how do I get rid of it, if its the cause. Working offline it does not switch off automatically, no! I love my phone, I bought in 2005, and never experienced this problem! Please anybody out there with any idea?

Hi,

I bought this phone in the Philippines for about $400+ thinking that it would be my dream phone. I like the design that is actually unique, it's availability in different colors, the 2nd half part of the phone which is handy for taking pictures, and most of all its mp3 player which rocks (the camera and video still works perfectly even if the phone is useless for communication now).It was good until one year when I dropped it and the small crack gradually became bigger and bigger, until one day the case fell off one by one! I think it's because of the design itself (plastic and metal) that made it insanely fragile. First the outer covers came off, then the keypad, then some other parts in the back. Now it just looks plainly awful.

Though it still is mainly my fault, I don't believe in products that are stupidly fragile. I wish I thought about it more before blowing my cash. Anyway, as I said, the camera, video and mp3 are amazing on this phone. The text messaging and calling features are premium too. It's just not durable. Believe me, if you are accident prone Nokia 3250 is not for you.

now im happy with it:D
symbian never gets old
you have always chance to get something new;)

3250 is a very nice phone,a little mistake is just the shape ^^
unluckily,it's not 3G ready too,but,this phone pretty odd!!do u know?some s60v2 apps can installed on this s60v3 phone . .
however that's a nice odd thing =P
fortunately,it has an equalizer to give a good perform sound with bass boost and stereo widening,
well,i think this phone could be a 2nd rival of N70 xD

great sound but very low speed and the steel design is not comptable with the plastic ones because when the mobile falls down the mobile componets get broken because of the hard chissee

Well i must say thanks for producing 3250 it is a wonderful phone ...ever since i am making use of it i never had any problem with it...it is a strong phone

this is a great fone. i've had no probs wid it. only prob is that its rather large-130g. but i like a lot. dropped it several time without prob

Hello all,

im no more a 3250 user as it fell from my hand at march and then went to nokia service center and they returned the phone and couldnt fix the display problem.

The diplay automatically sometimes become normal but for a little time only and then again become purely white though call can be received at that time.

Now i use my 3250 only as modem for my pc. :-)

now i have bought a simple nokia phone for my day to day use n3110c. Good for telephoney, edge useage and music. But worst part is the cam,simply foul.

What ever, i was happy with my 3250 except its cam,which was not upto the mark specially for indoor photo.and its night mood was just bad.

Still now i miss my 6600,realy served me.

Hope i will switch to any new phone next year which may be n73, se k790, n95 or my most fav n82.

really very gd mobile ...the only cons. is the joy stick..it was broken and mend it and broken again...thrn i sold it...but its excellent mobile.....needs good handle only....

why you should choose n78 over n82?
n78 is more music-focused than n82. n78 has better sound quality, and of course, has fm transmitter. n78 also has the latest os version which is so much better than previous version. it's now a lot more fun to browse and explore all the menus. also n78 has better battery life.
on the other hand, n82 is more focused on camera.
