It's me again.
Just poped up in my head.Is that the brand-related issue??
What I've tried is K***st** mmc mobile 1 GB.What's yours??
BTW my current match is Nokia 3300 + AD-49 audio adapter + Sony ex-71.With proper eq'ed,it really kicked the other "music phones"asses away.I'm really happy with it.
Next move - good used N91 8GB,or brand new N81 (wow)...

Hi..i'm using 1GB mmc and still no problem with it eventhough the response will be slow (time to retrieve all the mp3 file's) but still acceptable. Mine same with your firmware.

I just bought this phone 2nd hand dirt cheap.My first attempt with 512 Mb mmc Mobile...no problem(somewhat slow response,but understandable).But it simply didn't see 1Gb Card or anything bigger than 512 Mb.The FW is v 5.20 27-05-04 .Is this the reason ??
BTW its mp3 playback quality REALLY ROCKS!!! No any other models could even come close to this.The only exception is N91 8Gb : ) .

i use a 6600 now, but i use to have this phone a few years back..
can tell u'll one thing.. this phone has amazing sound quality !! i think before the SE W series came in, this was the ultimate music/radio phone.. too bad you dont get many now on sale, cos it's one of those phones that stands out of the crowd.
Esp like the recorder function when listtening to the radio... and typing text is so easy and fast...

this phone is great. i'm from singapore and this phone is a rare. but how come gsmarena didn't review the same model nokia 3300 but i think it's a US version where it has a qwerty keypad? i've been looking around for that version desperately...

Well guys, i tried geting some stuffs via USB, but it says, it's on " FILE TRANSFER MODE" or something and that i should change the mode. PLS PLS PLS can anyone help me on how to transfer stuff with the USB?

it's true same but tell me what phone in the market can adjust sound while using radio. meaning adjust the graphic equalizer to make sound more bass. More bass even using standard headset.

The 5300 audio quality capabilities and this phone are identical. 5 band equalizer and stereo widening.. I can prove this because I got both phones.. The only difference is the camera, OS version, support for eaac+
To some it all up this phone is still comparable to the new nokia xpressmusic line up..

i still waiting from nokia the function like that, can recording anything using the cable..but do your really possible they can make it with another model. p/s not like 5300, 5200 or 3300.
