hey guys
here's something what i found abt my nokia 3710 fold and useful tricks.
1.front camera is only for video calls.
2.the back cover is really too difficult to open.
3.the camera quality is best in daylight. at night it takes really pathetic snaps.
4.no option for marking messages.
5.can't insert contact in message.
6.takes too much time to convert a photo from nrw to jpg.
7.gps works but at really slow rate. if you wanna enhance it, you'll have to register and take a package from your nokia priority.
now here's something i've done with my phone to open back cover
i twisted the corners ( the thing on both sides of camera ) by fingernails a bit.then pressed it from the side. this'll make the cover at the bottom of camera to bulge. then simply press the sides of twisted parts with left hand and with right fingernails pul the cover back. this worked for me. but you need to be careful. this trick works for a slight force also.

this is a question for users of this phone..... dont you have a problem with the call waiting alert?????..... have changed my phone 4 times....and still cant hear the call waiting tone......

this phone just look goods,,,other than this mbl is nt all good ,,very problematic,,wastage of 7000rs,,,its also having lesser options

Overall I like the phone.

Does this fone support streaming if yes then why does not it plays you tube videos. . . And why gps not showing own position

This phone has really got a lot of problems:
1- the software is like really terrible
2-if u get more than one unanswered call from the same number u can only know the time of the last one,,as there's no " time of call" option
3-when texting they cancelled the features of " insert contact" and "insert number"
4-me and others who bought had the problem of not displaying the name even when it is saved in the memory !!!
5- adjusting the alarm is not really easy
6-the sound quality is not good at all
7-the graphics design is really not nice,,,specially the big awful clock
Overall i dont recommend this phone to anybody !!

i thnk its a very cute and handy phone
display and graphics are good
flip design is very cute esp 4 gals
speaker volume is low but u justr need to use the volume keys to increase it(its nt on full vol in d begining)
music quality is impressive considering that it is not music express
opening msgs is not slow eithr
voice quality is also gud
to 7600 rs its a gud buy

I bought this nokia an hour ago, for their brand name and also because my favourite sony ericsson did not have any flip phones in the price range.
I donot look for fancy features, not even camera or mp3 actually. What I look for in a phone are the very basic and logical ones.
I will just write the problems I saw so far
1. No brightness adjustment for the display, it is too bright and I am afraid the battery life will be halved.
2. Speaker volume is too low. I don't think there is any point in using the speaker phone during calls. Its too low.
3. Speaker is located on the bottom. I think this is the simplest and most disgusting of all the problems. When we place on bed or table or anything for that matter, the speaker is blocked by the surface below and the ring tone volume is cut down heavily and we cant hear the phone ring if the room is little noisy.
4. Disgusting increasing ring tone. I think this is programmed in the phone because the ring tone volume increases from low to high even when I change the ring settings to normal mode.
5. Combine points 3 and 4 , you will have lot of missed calls.
These are my personal views, i might sound a tough critic.

i dont think i'll ever be able to open the back cover. i need to change the sim but with all the energy in my arms i cant open it..
Can smebody suggest me on d same.
I also couldnt find the front camera option, where do i find it.
the nokia websit says- "multiple message deletion" feature in d phone. but all i could find is "delete all". n deleting one by one is a pain

This phone is a definite - DO NOT BUY
I have just taken my 2nd phone back within 7 days with the same problem - freezing when you attempt to
send a text. Trying to get the back off to take the battery out is a major operation and on the 2nd trip back to the shop I had to let them remove it. Also the phone does not hold its charge.
The real confirmation for me, that it should not be bought, was when the shop told me virtually every one of these sold has been returned. BUYER BEWARE

i bought a nokia 3710 phone last sunday from india.there is a small play in folded part of the phone(Display)after folding it.
pls let me know whether it is a problem or not?

this is a very nice phone, some of the negative comments concerning the voice quality and battery life are not really fair. the voice quality is certainly adequate and the earpiece volume is very loud, this is the first phone I've come across in a long time that I can use on a busy downtown street and hear clearly without straining. the battery life is a matter of size, if you want a compact thin phone then you have to settle for a smaller battery and because it has a large bright screen the battery life is a little less than some other phones with lesser screens. another very important feature to me is the ringer volume is much louder than most other phones, this alone was reason enough for me to buy this phone and if that means I have to plug it in every other day then so be it. another feature I love on this phone is that you can set the voice recorder to record boths sides of a phone conversation, very handy when you want to keep track of details without having to take notes. and one last thing, this phone is gorgous. "nuff" said.
