I personally think this is better than the Nokia 3500 classic, 5000's screen resolution is much better! Yes it's doesn't have a 2 megapixel camera no memory card slot, but think battery life on 5000 out classes the 3100 & 3500 by far. Looks better too!!!

am too disappointed about the no memory card slot in the phone. it's a good bargain phone but would have been better with a much larger memory space and the camera pixel. please work on the colour as well... i was a given the green one for a gift and i felt bleeeff!!! honestly, your colours are so a put off.

im planning to buy a (new)phone in the month of august..and i'm hoping that they would release a newer nokia5000!!! :)

Nokia is so stupid. For every Nokia 3110 which looks decent it makes a 100 phones that look like websites made by amateurs without any colour sense. Godddd. When will Nokia learn.

i intend to get this Nokia 5000, it is cheap at only €79.
i tried one the other day and liked the keypad, the good reception (doesn't lose signal even at my -1 level parking garage) and the overall feel of this simple phone.

do you know how to set up the photo call, so i can see the picture in full screen?
the phone has such option but when somebody calls you the pitcture is too small?
is this a software bug or i am doing something wrong?
help guys :)

It doesn't have the memory card slot and the internal memory is too low only 12mb. I must buy 3110C, why will I buy this. The price is very high for this phone. The price must be in below 3k INR.

if it had more then 12 mb memory - 128 maybe... and the 1.3 m camera was replaced with the 2m camera from 5310, it was the best phone:D

This phones price of tk. 8000 would be justified if it had any memory plot. Look at its specification xpress audio,mp3 etc. Is it a joke or what? Nokia released this phone too late because no one needs this type of phone at 2008.

this phone is really good. lots of people have it
even though it doesnt have a memory slot it can still hold 5 songs and a few pictures and games
its also a great buy at such a low cost if u want a basic phone
guys, if u are dissing this phone i hope u are not comparing it with a higher quality model...
nice and basic :)

Only 12MB of memory no sense of MUSIC phone.
It would be good if it has 128MB of built-in mmemory atleast,
