William do you understand the concept of a budget phone. The more things they add to a phone the more expensive they become. And its also obvious that you don't know that megapixals on a mobile phone doesn't mean much. Having a 56k qvga screen on a budget phone as well as s40 is great. William maybe you should come back and comment when you know something about mobile phones.

this is a budget phone.
so, if anybody wants more features, go for another model.

this fone is cool and has a vibrant color,love the slim design but it really looks like the 5310xpress musik anyway i hope nokia has already improved all the probz to their slim design fones...=}

THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY 4 YEARS OLD COUSIN!
-65k colors in a QVGA? (this is not a blackberry/palm/WM5 smartphone.)
-NOEXPANSION SLOT?? (i cant forgive this one)
-ehm... 1.3mp? (i think that even barbie toy cameras have more resolution)
-NO USB???? (i cant forgive this one neither)
Why would you need a QVGA screen when you got only 65k colors, no expansion slot, no usb connection and crappy camera? Nokia should have put a 128x160. Would fit more to the other specs.
Nokia starter phone for kids up to 6 years old.

Is this the new Nokia Sport phone?
I'm a fan on Nokia Sport phone. I used Nokia 5100i, 5140i, and 5500i. Apart from the hard to press key, it is a good phone.
But this Nokia 5000 is a bit disappointing for me.
I was hoping there will be a new sport phone in 3G.
I hope, this is the low budget version, and Nokia release a better version, that is 3G, GPS, S60, and better camera.
But if they not, then I will move to Sony Ericsson C702 (http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_e...02-2251.php)

This looks like a toy. If this phone had a memory card slot it would be an economic phone. I will buy this phone...if it is the last phone on earth.lol.

what is nokia up to again? why so sh*ity handsets once again. the N seriers jams and freezes and restarts on their own, the e serios the buttoning is crap. and now comes the cheapy ones. the only reason i gave up nokia was cuz my n80 and n95 kept freezing. get a life nokia.

For all of you who have said bad things about this phone, you gotta realize that this phone is in an entirely different price scheme. Its price is expected at 90 euros about $141. How many features do you expect it to have? You need to get your head straight and know more before you start dissing this phone.
