Anyone has an idea whether the pressing of the hard keypad would be become a bit softer after using the phone for sometime?

I think Nokia should have made the keypad soft like that of 1600 with no firm click noise.
Am sure they would be coming up with a different mode with good keypad very soon.

Anyway just curious, does Nokia knows of all these comments or phone review sites and is that why they mostly do bring in new models after so much complains?

Can someone tell me some of the ringtones this phone has?
Example: Nuance, Listen, Nokia tune and others.
I like the Nuance, dawning and espionage tones in the Nokia's low-end phones.

Also does the hard keypad makes any hard noise when pressed?

I just bought myself the Nokia 5030 Xpress Radio. Keypads are not that hard! It has that firm click sound whenever you press on it. That means to say that the Keypads are durable and can endure and withstand much aggressive pressing. It's a Basic phone and has a great sound quality. Especially with the big speakers from behind. Clear radio frequency as well. You can use this phone as your Main or back-up phone. Display or the screen is quite clear. Overall, the phone is simply a GOOD phone.

@ anony: the fone wil display time, date, unread msgs.. in stand by, though its not so bright. the call clarity is clear n volume is adjustable. den i dont think dat usb cable z necessry wid such a basic fone, tat may in case increase the price of the set.

Why don't Nokia do something to the keypad thing!
Also they should be adding data cable in the box for this type of phones so people can use it with the computer.
See even 1650 didn't have data cable but I once read in a forum that the data cable cost more than the phone itself. Can you imagine this? An accessory is expensive than the product itself.
Well according to the specification on major sites, it says the BL-5C battery last for up to 10hours which is a good idea.

Anyway I have a question here. When the phone is in stand-by, can you see the display? I mean the clock or lets say the screen saver or is it dark like that of 1650.
When you are making/receiving a call in the handset mode, can someone beside you hear your conversation like that of 1202? Is the call clarity clearer? What of network signal strength for GSM?
Is the display type a TFT or CSTN because I once read in one of the comments here whereby someone said the display is CSTN.

Please confirm.

i m agree with BS,
it has good radio, flash light, long battery charge

But, hard to press keys, also in specification stated that can take 1000 contact records, it's wrong it takes only 500 contacts.
the phone box doesn't have data cable to record new tones.
