BEST: It sucks that memory stick of any kind is used only by Sony. It's their propriety type of memory. That'd be better if that happens.

wish they added
TFT, 256K colors

Memory Stick Micro (M2)
and something better with the battery

How can a piece with 4mb internal memory, without card slot be considered a "music phone" ??? Call it a fm radio phone or something then.

got nice looks as well as good features but if it have a music player,MMC slot and a symbian OS then it gives a good impression in the market as nokia's other mobile's gives for ex all the n-series and two of the most handsome mobile's in the world nokia 6600&6630.

This just prooves that Nokia thinks that every one will buy their junk if it just has "Nokia" brand on it. Now days the memory cost is so low, I bet you could put 1GB on it and yet more than $10 difference would be there. They could have had a winner but they are losing it.

Actually 6070 has been one of Nokia most successfull phones of all time, its true though that this is the same phone in different colors pretty boring but all manufacturers do the sam e thing these days.

Hmm... I thought Nokia were aiming this budget handset at the Music Phone Market?

So how come it has such a tiny memory?

I'm not really sure how well this handset will sell, when in essence it's just a 6070 with new colours (and the 6070 isn't exactly a popular model)

You have a clue, what you are talking about? Ever seen what happens in Finland, or Germany, or Hungary, or any other Nokia site on the world? Or at Siemens (while it existed), or at Motorola in the Far East. But anyway, this discussion is not for this forum (at least not for me).

Anyway, indeed this is a mid/low phone that the market also demands. Those of us, on this forum many look for the new features. But there are several millions of peaple who only want a phone. Did you know, that in average, Europeans change their phone in an 8 months period? So even those, using the same phone for 3 years change periodically. And all manufacturers know that they are a huge croud, who needs to be served. This phone does not do anything else, but serve them.

And in deed it is cheaper to build them in families. Like all the platforms of Siemens, or the Motorola Triplets (V300, V500, V550, V600, V620, V80, E550, etc.), or SonyEriccson T610, T630, etc. This is part of the deal. You get similar capability and similar design in order to serve the market need, still, don't go bankrupt on the desighn cost.
