This phone is simply bullet proof!!I have got it wet while diving and dusty and oily while at work and thrown it across a room in anger yet it just keeps going. It is a shame Nokia cannot come up with a suitable replacement. Perhaps they do not want thier phones to last so long in order to boost sales?

absolutly solid i'v had mine for years it's worked perfectly even after been in the pool with me, i find it's a solid performer. and would love nokia to make something as solid as this.

seen this phone in real life and my 1st impression....ugly!
dont wanna bash the fone but in my entire lifetime i stayed in uk and dubai and i only saw this phone with 2ppl uptil now.

I'm from Trinidad & Tobago and I've had this phone 4 over 2yrs. I've had xcellent service! Never had 2 do repairs til now an that's bcause I accidentally cracked the screen. My friends r tellin me 2 get a new 1, it would b cheaper, but i can't seem 2 part wit it. Also, this model is no longer available in our country.

ilive in trinidad and tobago and i love this phone so much i made all of my g-friends purchase it, this phone is neat and very reliablewith service, in my location its very hard to get service with mobile phones but with the 5100 i get perfect service.

This phone is not bad when you think about it. My only problem is my radio doesn't work and i am having trouble using my infrared port. Is this feature only compatable with other Nokia 5100's?

i love the nokia 5100. only it is hard to find covers/fascia in the usa. ihave used it with t-mobile and cingular. i have yet to find something that is published on the web site it doesn't do. it works great wet.

Iv have this phone for about 2 years and its been great. its never gone wrong once. the only down side is it hasnt got a camera iv got a detachble one but it doesnt work v. well. if ur lookin for a simple eay to use phone this is perfect!

An excellent phone. Battery takes approx 45min to fully charge from dead and lasts about a week. Very durable and simple to use. a good buy

It“s a good phone, have many functions but, in my country don“t sell a skin for it.
Why nokia don“t sell this mobile in South America ?

this phones pretty cook
just it was really easy to crack the screen, i cracked it about a week that i had got it.
i really like that it has a camera attachment and the headphones to listen to the radio and it has a speaker.

Hi! I Am Using This Phone at 1 Year Ago and this is a very cool phone. The Infrared Only Work With Contacts and Notes With Other Phones and I Think it's because the phone is ''Nokia Series 40 1st Ed.''. GoodBye For Everyone !

Hi all,
I am using this phone for 3 months till now. It is wonderfull phone!
I had SiemensC55 and Nokia1100 and I am not very pleased with them. I bought this phone at second hand and until now I did not have any problems with it.
The phone has a good anti-shock system. The torch availability is very important for me- very usefull in many situations. The sound meter is not so usefull utility but it works on noisy environment. I change the SIM card at least 3 times a day and the phone just continues to work.
