> In reply to luis @ 2008-12-24 22:25 from P1U3 - click to readDude you can't get a good audio quality reading from a WALKMAN phone without changing the equalizer , dont just select the bass or MEGA BASS freature , you have to adjust it by your self.. in order to get the best sudio quality performance ! and use a good set of WALKMAN head sets( such as you'r HMP-70) to do this.

any way WALKMAN phones such as W980 ,W902 and W705 are a blast !! compared to nokia xpressmusic

and you cant say that SE doesn't know how to make mobile phone , because they already lauched the XPERIA which has a WINDOWS OS ! while nokia still using their Symbian OS. and the C905 offers a 8 MP , and most of all the W 902 offers a 5 MP camera which is a WALKMAN phone. while nokia offers 5 MP, N96 and even the up coming N97 is also 5 MP. SE is one step a head than Nokia..

SE phone are not smart phones like nokia , but they do the best in their given feature - WALKMAN is the best in audio quality and CYBERSHOT(not the best)but better than nokia camera quality.

you'll get it if you read the reviews of mobile phones in this website. i just went through the Nokia XM 5320 audio quality review , and it says audio qualiy is GOOD but NOT GREAT !! after that go through the W980 audio quality review and compare borth reviews by yourself.

the REVIEWS are different Lab tests carried out by EXPERTS..

iv had my W850i for 2 years and i still LOVEEEEEEEEEE it to bits ..i love using it ..its a masterpiece - the quality and build is amazing on it...it will last forever! iv got a 4GB Memory card in it ...over 1 week's battery life ..excellent user-interface ..supreme quality....

i have NO reason to get bored no way...


if i had bought a Nokia of the same time ..Nokia would of come out with something better then it so quickly ....Dayumm them.

SE on the other hand offers Supreme Qualityyyyyyy and stable and fast User-Interface with guaranteed Quality! , SE wants it consumers happy thats why it offers 'Quality' more then anything else! they come excellent earphones, walkman music player's are awesome.., the designs and quality is BEST!

I know that Sony is supporting Ericsson but the pioneer this time is Nokia not Sony (they don't know a lot about cell phones as Nokia, they should focus on their TVs and electronics that are the best, but not cell phones). They need innovation and better prices, not overprices and the same stuff.

But let's change the topic at the end of the day this is 513O XM forum, I think it's a good bargain. Name a W series phone capable of trump this phone both in price and features.

Due to their good performance and pricing, they are selling like hotcakes. In terms of music quality, they are excellent and only n91, n81, n96 or innov8 can challenge them.

nokia headset connected to W710i via handsfree - good audio qualty.

SE HMP 70 WALKMAN headset connected to nokia XM 5320 via 3.5mm audio jack - poor audio quality !!

i even tryied this with N73 ME it's still the same !

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ABOUT THIS !!!

remember this dude Nokia is still nokia , sony ericsson comes under SONY !! rather than ericsson

For your information, nokia 5310xm is the best selling music phone to date with over 10 million units sold. 5800xm and 5130xm are also expected to hit similar numbers. 5800xm is already being reported to have sold out in most stores showing that it is bound for spectacular success. 5130xm will do the same due to its low pricing and good features.
It takes only 3 xpressmusic phones to destroy the entire walkman range.

3.5mm jack SE's have it on the adaptor with a MIC for calls!!!!

Walkman Phones already have the BEST Sound Quality thanks to the Experties of Sony! also come with excellent Walkman earphones!


Nokia has bought DSP Chips from Toshiba Lol
and also Nokia supplies c*ap earphones in the retail package, thats why they fit 3.5mm jack lol

5310 has already Expired hahahahaa its not even been out for a Year..


W880i of SE is still being used by people uptil now! W890i is a succesful sucessor of it, but people still use W880i because its still available.


Unlike Nokia with the Soo SOON EXPIRED 5310 Lol

5200, 5300 are extincted Lol
