g0od phone, but be careful. avoid sliding d0wn when the keypad is moistend by hand or wet. dry it! OR else the inside parts (flex) will corrode -its a big problem.

Yeah, you're right. Poor image capti0n on new version! I hate Noki*! I think, they d0nt kn0w how to upgrade nokia software. Its really s*cks! Hope there will versi0n 8 -focused on captu image inhancement

Nokia 5200 in updated v07.2 today! Beware!
Im using this 5200 since 2008. Nice phone. Sounds quality good. Great image capture!
But, recently i updated the 5200 software from nokia web to version 7.2 -the CAMERA (image captured) gets DARKER images. In v07.2 low iso, fair quality image, you cant shoot image at low light -its useless (subject is not visible).
Unlike in version 05.2, you can shoot images even at low light with no worries because the output image is fair bright -really good!
In new version 7.2, the sounds quality get higher than previous version, date display was inserted in standby clock, and got a little faster processor than previous.
Note: if you want a higher quality sounds, but poor captured images on your 5200 -UPDATE it to version 07.2 which can be found at nokia.com on nokia software updater, 0r...
If you DON'T want poor captured images on your 5200, but have also a not so higher quality sound -DON'T UPDATE YOUR 5200!
so, i prefer to stick on previous version 05.2 than with v07.2. or wait for new version in future -if nokia will provide.

Hey guys!!! im going to buy this cellphone for 15$ from my friend, its used, of course and im a little skeptical about battery lifetime. I had a 6300 and the battery was awful. I want to listen to music most of the time. Will this phone be good for me? I hope it lasts like my other phone ... a 2630 with great battery life

The best Nokia I used in the last 6 years: sturdy, reliable, simple to use, no fiddly controls (with comparison to smartphones), long battery life, loudspeaker is much better than high-tech E52, easy on the pocket in every respect. A great car phone. Best phone as a secondary phone you can lay your hands on. I used it as my main phone for 2 years and it never failed me even once - I learned it to land on the tarmac and it splashed in soaked rain jacket many times and no major faults to date I discovered.

itsa cool 1...not even music xpress matches its quality.its got network selection problem,due to low quality antenna..otherwise..looks,sound,options are worth its cost!!!
