the bluetooth issue is strictly a smartphone issue
series 40 phones can send files in any size as long as you have card space available.

I am planning to buy this phone. A couple of quick q: about the phone
1) Does the music player inside the phone support creation of multiple users playlists ?
2) Can we attache a adapter to the phone which would enable us to attach a normal 3.5mm headphone to it ?

concerning the bluetooth issue , to day i received a 4 mb file on my microsd.
my phone memory was full so the phone saved the file on the microsd.
so don't be afraid of receiving bigger files :)

Vifay, as far as i know all Nokia phones have the same problem. i have a 9500 communicator and still can't receive more then the internal FREE memory. that's why i bought a card reader. it's safer, faster and it works for any file size ;)

crap phone, screen broke after only 10 days, nokia refused to replace it saying it was my fault, aload of bull, buyers be aware!!!

I have a single question for all people having similar nokia phone phones with bluetooth and internal memory of around 5mb:

Does your phone allow you to recieve a file larger than 5MB size via bluetooth???
Well.. it cannot as per me.. And that is a major drawback if u are used to frequently exchange media from your friends cell-phones via bluetooth...

I love this fone but i keep getting dropped calls. The screen goes blank, the antenna picture flashes and the the display returns and then it's fine for a while. Does anyone have the same problem or a solution lemme know.

as far as i am concerned, i bought this handset two days back.i really say its worth the money i have put.leave aside the cam, u have a really worthy piece

hi all
i just bought that phone yesterday, and guess what it is superb , i was really impressed with the speaker quality coz it is my second nokia (i am a brand switcher) but i want to ask one question:
although i set the the profile to ringing it rings ascendingly why??also can i install games on MicroSd?

beleive me..people it has a perfect balance between cost&functions&very good buy..but it's not 4 someone who demand great pic's

pro--cost,functions,decent looks,a never- say- die battery &it's a nokia!!!!!

cons--only&only.. the camera..still a VGA..in this age!!!!

any idea on how to assign voice tags for contacts in 5200?
the phone has built in voice tags for all the contacts, but i'd like to assign my own.

When will Nokia learn? So far all their Slider phone have been crap and Faulty!
Such as the 91% return rate of the 6111.

I think The Nokia 5200 if quite good, it got gd music abilites and u can hav the vol really loud!! The camera is not rubbish its just a normal 1, dont really need if u just want music and a phone that can call.
Bluetooth is quick and for me it downloads songs fast.
The battery for me runs out in 5-6days and my rating for this phone is.

This gsm is great it have slot for memory with radio and mp3 player and it`s cost only 125 evro in bulgaria :):):) so i don`t have problem for now :) i will buy this gsm :)

I don't know how others worked with this phone but i don't got problems with it.Battery life is very very good (even compared to z530 from SE). I downloaded the first night 14 games and 30 themes..and a lot of mp3 ringtones and only 2 games and 1 theme didn't work.I bought it for 550 RON (3,4 RON=1Euro).A 512MB card in my country is only 8Euro.So it's not a problem :D
