A seller must be ready when the buyer is, lest an opportunity be irretrievably lost. Customers buy when they want an offering and have the time and money to purchase it. Buying patterns can often be discerned from an analysis of customers and their purchases.
For example, wants for many consumer goods and services are tied to customers' rites of passage. The following purchase occasions in the adult life cycle are typical:
Marriage, separation, divorce
Acquisition of a home
®
Change in employment or career
Graduate study
Health care, injury, illness
Pregnancy, nurture of children
Children enter school; graduate
Children leave home (for college or permanently)
Move to another area
Vacations; major social activities
Permanent retirement from work
Death of a family member

Dropped this phone in streams/rivers four times, each time I took it apart and dried it over a stove/radiator/Trangier and it worked perfectly. Five years solid use out of it. Utterly bomb-proof.
Easily affordable, and with a quality of design and engineering which can't be found now, or not for student money at any rate.
If they'd kept upgrading it to take more messages and contacts...etc, I'd never need another phone.

Well, I'm going back to the basics...
Had this some years back and I just pulled it out again. The only problem is I will need a new battery of course (ebay) and the case has gotten old and the plastic in some places a little brittle (ebay again). After that, the only real issue is when I access the SIM phonebook and go backwards (move the up/down button up), it only goes from Z to X and arround in circles, the same names. Not that big a deal, and it might actually be the SIM's fault.
