when i open music player it says app memory full close some and try ... moreHello t0o,
How many times did u enc0unter that? Th0ugh i didnt met that issue when opening music player, but c0nsider the am0unt of RAM space left in ur ph0ne.
- Opening and running t0o many apps. And/or
- ph0ne mem0ry space alm0st full.
Closing s0me unnecessary apps wil help. So m0nitor the RAM space by x-plore or besttaskmanager apps, and try also rambooster. Also, restarting the ph0ne helps refresh its mem0ry space. Ü
Jeniverre, 09 Apr 2010Thank you for the info, ansaf. Ühiii jeniverre........
when i open music player it says app memory full close some and try again....then i restart my phone and everything is fine......what was that problem.....?
[deleted post]Hello anis, actually 5230 and 5235 has the same features. The only diffrence is, 5235 is for music l0ver which it has a c0ntract of 1yr free music in 0vi st0re. And it has stereo l0udspeakers t0o, (i guess).
So, if u prefer music and which c0st a little m0re am0unt than 5230, then go for 5235.. Its all ur decisi0n. Ü

I am not sure, whether i would be able to pronounce your name but i would like to... moreHello pune, thank you for appreciating but u must be mistaken. I am n0t any expert like surya is. I dnt even kn0w where they've g0ne. They're m0re kn0wledgeable than me. I just answer with my experiences.. Ü
Anyway about ur 1st questi0n, yeah there are many GPS apps out there that might be m0re than Ovi maps. G0ogle maps and Garmin is 0ne of them. But there difference is maybe about the voice navi. I had use g0ogle maps before and it d0esnt have that feature, or maybe there is a latest versi0n n0w which supp0rts it but i d0nt kn0w,. M0st likely, what ive heard is that go0gle maps were m0re precised in finding buildings, streets, malls, restaurants and etc. While 0vi is m0re on the exact turn by turn navigati0n thing, (locati0ns).
2nd questi0n, the media bar is n0t custumizable. But if u want to have m0re sh0rtcut butt0ns on menu screen, then hacking ur ph0ne is the answer. There w0uld be tut0rials for that in symbian c0mmunity forums with the use of third party s0ftwares, (which im currently interested of, after i changed my 5230's f0nt style).
H0pe this helps u. By the way, yes u can call me jen or jenny.Ü
If production of 5230 is over, then there might b any piece left in the stock. Right?
Jeniverre, 09 Apr 2010Ur welc0me, and thank you. I wil try that later on. By the way, i think thats the same site wh... moreYup. They provide it for free, along with pot singing tools for pc and free singner for s60 to sign the apps directly in phone.
I am not sure, whether i would be able to pronounce your name but i would like to call you as "Jen".
After SR, Surya Singh, and some other champs the forum had got a New Mastro like you. I am continousely reading this forum and getting various new info and solution to various issues. Thanks for being on the forum and valuable comments.
Now my queries...
1) I had installed OVI maps and using it frequentely, but heard about the various excellent features of Google maps developed for S60V5 versions.Could you put some light on it ?
2) there is a small square tab above the display screen at the right side of the "Nokia" logo, which is a pull down menu. Can we customise it with our own shortcuts ?
I have a question...
Which site would be the bets for S60V5 modding?? In particular for Nokia 5233.
Thanks in advance.
[deleted post]nahi yaar, 5230 cant but 5233 can . better find 5230 in online shops there r still available in south india and somewhere in delhi...u have only this option.

bad News.. bad news
Been to the Nokia Priority center yesterday here in my home city kollam. They say that 5230 is discontinued by Nokia. The actual reason being a bit moot and rediculous. Its simple marketing strategy. With a phone (5230) as good as the mighty 5800 but costing a fraction less, it is kind of ruining the sales of both the high end 5800 and the low end 5233. The representative being a friend of mine says that the success of 5230 is the result of its early discontinuity.
maybe nokia feels that there is no need for a phone in this range as the distinction between low end and high end phones become minimal. Customers are morethan content with the features of 5230 as it costs just a tad higher than the 5233 andway less than 5800 with almost similar features. So from now on, low budget customers will be forced to buy the less pricey 5233 while the high end customers can opt for the older 5800 which nokia has no plans of discontinuing or improving.
So I advice anyone plannin to get the 5230 to get it anyway you can. Don't expect anything this good anytime soon.
From what i've heard, Nokia will maintain that void to boost its sales of high end phones.
hey..d phone is very nice.....m happy vid d phone........but d music quality is very bad regarding its xpress music tag.....nice battery lyf n great touch response n its 3g........i must say its a worth buy 4 8300.00inr
pot-pot, 09 Apr 2010is the quality of the sound of this phone good?Hello p0t-p0t, about s0und quality with l0ud speakers, it is kind of low but it has great s0und especially if u use other branded earph0nes.
I used mine with my 5610xm's earph0ne and its really great. I had also tried my friend's sony earph0ne (i forg0t the m0del, but the one that has big f0am with headband) and its really superb.. I guess its with the earph0nes that makes the s0und brilliant. Ü
r4lph, 09 Apr 2010yeah,i also hack my phone last month or 2 months ago,and it hasnt any bad effect to the phone.... moreIm n0t sure, but it might. As per n0kia's limited warranty w0nt claim ur ph0ne if there w0uld be any neglegence fr0m the user with the use of third party apps... But maybe n0t also.. How about u? Do u think it wil n0t invalidate its warranty?
And by the way, so u said u hacked ur ph0ne two m0nths ago? Can u share s0me custumizati0n u've g0t there and what are other apps u have? Ü
