I brought the sandisk 2gb card separately.I paid 258.13(this includes shipping)for the phone from saberpoint brought through amazon. I got the handset(dark grey),nokia 256mb card,audio adapter,nokia headset,charger,nokia PC suite.When i brought the phone amazon only had the dark grey but ebay has both colors.I actually got a good deal through amazon as their price and ebay's price was almost the same!Check around first, ebay has the cheapest prices.However buying directly through saberpoint's website is more expensive when last i checked. I have an N91 and have tried the 5300. The 5300 is a toy...the sound quality is simply not that good. Also a 3.5mm adapter cmon that is not a music phone

For its price, it's the best music phone you can get. Sound quality is great, screen is great, software is fast and easy (it's a Nokia!). I really do recommend it! :)

Like I said before (please read early replies!), 5300 automaticaly saves the files to the microSD card if the phone's memory is not enough.

I'm thinking about the 5300 or the 6233.
My question for both though is:
Can I transfer any size file by Bluetooth straight to the memory card, or does it have to go on the phone's memory (5 MB) and then save it to the card ?

I finally got the phone(nokia 5300) last week thursday after a very long wait:) This phone is really cool!The screen size is quite nice,the music sounds good,and the games' graphics are great!I'm not into the nitty gritty of sound quality but it sounds good to me :)If anyone's wondering bout compatible memory cards, I brought a sandisk 2gb and it's working just fine. I brought my phone from online from saberpoint and I got the usermanual,PC suite, nokia 256mb card,audio adapter,car and house charger and a case for my phone:)

The battery lasts me max 1.5-2 days with average call time(incoming+outgoing) of 40 mins in those two days? Prashant can you confirm if this is normal?

I am wondering if my battery is a fake one. As it is lasting me not more than 1.5-2 days. I bought it 2 days back.
I bought it from Nokia priority dealer. Any comments? What can I do to get is replaced with original one?

Sound quality is really great, its software has no bugs, it's very fast, configurable and it's working fine! The screen is also one of the best! I have 1GB card and I'm starting to feel I dont need my mp3 player anymore. Battery life is also very good, it lasts me up to 5 days.

The grey version is wonderfull and people around me seem to love it too. This phone is selling a lot, I've seen a few in the streets and it has just been released!

I do recomended it!

My girlfriend has just got this phone. Its ok, feels a bit cheap and loose but the sound is good. Menu system is a bit basic. Nokia seem to have lost their way a bit, they are trying to copy Samsung/Sony Ericsson too much with their sliding/twisting/flip mechanisms but can't match them quality wise. The PC software works well which comes with the phone! It includes CD ripping software that compresses the files to about 1Mb per dong. It comes with a 256Mb memory card which is OK but nowhere near Sony Ericssons 1Gb card of the W850i. The battery life is very good, even on its 1st charge it gave 4 days with normal useage. 7/10
