I DID IT!!!!!!!!!
for those of you who have this fone and are not satisfied with the music quality connect a different pair of earphones like iPod earphones and play a song and pause it then go to the equalizer and choose the costom one,as in the one that you can create by yourself and do this, starting from the
-first on the left= put it all the way up
-second on the left= put on the bottom all
the way
-middle one= one step above the floor
-second to the right= one step below the middle line,or 3 steps from the floor going up
-first on the right= put it to the very top
when you are done it should look like this

5300 Express Music is a great phone, his design really gets the atention and it's a quite small music phone (cd quality) with a great display and a user-friendly S40, microSD up to 2 Gigabite.
The slider has no problem at all.
I do recommend it :)

Hi, I'm a big fan of music phones I use Nokia 3250, which is yet the best Express Music phone of Nokia. I'm planning to buy a 5300 for my girl friend...she chose the mobile herself but only by the brand name & features. I would like to know how is it in total...I mean all together is it good or bad? Please inform. Thank You!!!

Good phone. Love the keypad; very spacious...ideal for sms addicts. The music quality is not bad either. Only thing about this phone that annoys me is the slide feature. It tends to slide everytime i take it out of my pocket or bag etc. Guess this will be the last slide/flip phone i'll ever be getting.

Yay another crappy Slider from Nokia.
Wonder how long the slide on this model will last? When will you learn Nokia? you can't make slider phones for crap. Stick to the Candy Bar format you are known for!

it is agreat phone , more than great music player , but it doesnot support sis extention for programs,and this is an disadvantage .
if anyone kow the extension of its program plz

I think this phone is one of this years coolest mobiles. It has everything you have to have in a great phone, mp3, camera and a great design. You have to give the credit to this phone, it looks really sporty, but stylish also. I'm getting one in 2 daya. I wanted grey, but i got red, it doesn't matter. Anyways, if you're thinking of buying a phone this year.. buy this one. The only thing I don't like, is that the camera is an 1.3 megapixel, and not a 2 mpxl, or 3.2.

while I play the video ( mp4 in 176 X 220, 6.1 M ), I does not play well and when I switched the video to full screen, the phone stopped and needed to reboot again. I switched the video agian to full screen again and the phone stopped once more.
However, the video file runs smoothly in P850, E908/900, and D900 even video has 240 X 320 with 10 M memory
