I love this phone,slide better than N80(my last phone),I buy it about 270 USD in Viet Nam ,with bonus Headphone Bluetooth HB - 501,Micro SD 256,fullback (because Nokia celebrate 10 years contribution).
How can I say, It's a simple phone to use and have a right price to everyone,especialy for pupil and student who love music the mostang don't have much money.Music is loud and clear,better than SE,but not good as SE in using headphone (of couse),I don't know SE w810i can play format WMA,somebody help me ?^^ , I wanna buy 2 phone,now I have 1,and a nother of couse is SE(w810i excellent).^^,to my opinion,5300 is 7,5/10 (- not have symbian), SE w810i 8,5 (+ for camera and music head phone).Plz don't compare to W850i, totally diffrence.

It costs around 320 US Dollars... i do have the phone and its pretty gud ... i love it :P
( BTW Its loudspeaker is better than SE W880i)

the webmaster of this site shud revise the specifications of the 5300 on this site as the 5300 has an infrared port while according to the site it doesnt !!!

This model have the infrared port.

wew..looks like a good music phone from Nokia.i hope the speaker won't be same as 7610's.how's the slider?is it tough enough compared wif Samsung's??

looks more like a upgraded version of 6111. but how can u call it a music phone when it have such low embedded memory? mayb the sound quality is good, but... not my type... slider phone... i think i'll go for N80

seriously the phone is fantastic when u look at the price u get it 4 !!
the screen is SEXY!!! u cant beat that ... in any walkman phone !!!
As far as the headphones are concerned u need to equalize ur own settings b4 usin ... then u shall really see the bass pumpin !!!
(PS IF u want the equalizer settings temme ... )
nyways u cool phone all the same

i thought nokia will apply all the same function like nokia 3300 e.g recording external function/radio and built-in radio with ability to change equalizer/loudness. If all of this it, for sure i grab this phone.

to those who comment that the plastic is cheap. how do u define cheap plastic? u actually went to study what plastic compound they used?
to those who say this phone looks like a toy, thats jus plain stupid. does the ipod look like a toy? maybe, but it sells.
look at the samsung phones, they look like regular clamshells. but almost all their phones are similar in design. boring.
sony makes phones the size of bricks, sells too.

i know ur happy with getting a new phone, im sure its good. but dont be too quick to say that the earphones are that good. cos they are not.
if u have only used the supplied earphones that come with mp3 players, u probably havent gotten the full treatment.
try using a super.fi, shure or some of the 13.5mm driver earphones by sony. u will enjoy this phone even more! =)

hey guys
i bought this phone tday n it totaly rocks!!!
It is a must have 4 all music lovers....
the loudspeaker is excellent( clear n sharp )
the nokia headset provides an excellent sound quality ... equivalent to any mp3 pplayer...
Moving on the scereen resolution is EXCELLENT and has superb quality...
it is an awesum phone on the whole !!

Based on its specifications, it seems to be a user-friendly phone.
Can I ask for its unit price and may I know if its already available in the Philippines coz I cannot find this info on the i-net.

i saw and hold the phone but i didnt buy it it looks cheap i mean the material used is bad but the slide is gd and it comes with 512mb memory card and i think it has a good sound quality and it costs 255 dollars

both asia.cnet.com and mobile-review.com gave this phone very positive reviews especially asia.cnet. maybe this is a good music phone to buy. i personally like the designs although am wary if it will get dirty easily since its body is in white color.
