I have had the W850i and now i have 5300, and without any doubt the sliding mechanism in 5300 is FAR SMOOTHER than in W850i. Also, i heard w580's keypad is a bit unreliable and breaks off after a few months. k550 is not a music phone and it sucks.

I'll search for those mobiles in Portugal ( W810 and Nokia 3250. The review of W8810 is from 2006, maybe k550 or W580 are better now, don't know )
PS - I can only spend around 100€ ( Those SE that I've mentioned are 100€ here in Portugal, while 5300 is 80€ )

Cm on guyz!I cant get bass with nokia!SE is the King here.1ly 3250,n91&n81 provide bass.Others are *******.

Music for me = trance ( I hear everything, but when people talk about music, they don't think about the bass, or drums, or whatever. I think this should be specified )
I don't know how the music phones can be with trance music, or even chillout.

i have had this phone for...6-7 months and i kinda dont like it. the camera sucks lots of ass, like you click the OK and it takes about 3 seconds to take the pic, way annoying. its basically made for music playing, and the speakers are nice for a phone. if you want to try it, go for it, overall a good phone.

hey this phone rocks!
i bought this phone a month ago and man i am so satisfied with it's performance.
it has a shorter battery life tough..

firstly lemme tell u dat i've been using dis fone for about 2 years now.
nokia 5300xm is a SUPERB SUPERB fone man !! IT ROCKKSS !!
pros:
1.superb speed... u can move from one application to another,one screen to another really fast.i hated the old nokia nseries for da slow bragging speed.
2.s40 OS. compatible with ALL Themes, ringtones,wallpapers, screensavers available on the net... my nokia 5300 worked wid many themes that were "corrupted" on my friends mobiles... like 6233,6300etc.
3.superb cam for 1.3mp.At rs.6k dont expect better pal,& its faaaaaaaar better dan da other cams on my frndz mobs of da same price.
4.SUPERB SUPERB MUZIK!! All u need to do is BUY A SONY HPM-70 HEADSET n connect wid ur 3.5mm adapter.IT BEATS ALL SE WALKMANS HANDS DOWN !!
5.SEXY SEXYYYYYY DESIGN.i once dropped it from terrace to two floors down,it did'nt even scratch itself (i had a crystal cover though).
6.the display is really GR8.superb contrast,resolution,colours.Its a treat to watch photos on such superb display(dat was da reason i hated sony, i mean wats da point in having a hing-end cam wen u hav a low quality TINNYYY display).
cons:
1.the supplied headset could've been a bit better,lyk da ones wid nokia 6233.
2.battery suckkksss man... dis one let me down.
tips:
1.read again wat i said about da SE HPM70 headset,u wont find dat info easily.
2.if u r looking for an upgrade FROM nokia 5300,go 4 n81(2gb,u wont need 8gb man!!)
