yes,same with the other comments,,i lost my speaker too,..now i can't use my Nokia 5300,i bought another brand instead of..

i think this nokia 5300 is quite good but the problem is....sound of this phone....it dissapointed me....i loose my sound speaker of my nokia 5300....this is the only problem i have but other is very satisfying man....good condition...all browser support even the mobile software such youtube,UCBrowser,operamini....and so on....it impressive me....hehehhe...

i am using this phone since five years....i daily do two hours of talking still its functioning...bt i feel this phone very fragile because day by day few functions are shuting down..first red key then speaker then radio then side keys broke..then mike is dead...bt it still has the best keypad to do messaging..i havent seen any keypad better than this...i am not throwing it just because of its keypad...

don't slide up or down this phone very very very frequently, last year i broke my FLEX and changed it which cost 500 php..

i own this phone for about 3 years,it is a good phone with a good speaker..how many times it fells and rolls, but still it's function is good..

the bad thing is, the speaker, sounds getting lower as time passes by, because as you see under the keypad is the speaker, as you press the keypad million times, it affects the speaker..

i don't know how many times it fell on rocky floor...used ruff & tuff... it is as it is...
nokia = robust + reliable

But idont know whiy nokia keep on producing the same specification just too change name @ shape and call it another wonderfull phone,4 example nokia x2-01 too 2700. Nokia pls shape up and produce good phones with differ specification!!

i think it's diplay has 65k colours not 256k

This was a good phone but the only problem for this is the speaker was getting low when it got old .. but mine still has great audio quality for the past 4 years that i have been using it ! nice phone

We are talking abt nokia 5300 yes its a good phone but it supports only 1gb if you insert 2gb memory card it will not work properly and sound by speaker is not 2 bed after all i like it
