I've been using it for 3 years and it is a very nice phone indeed. Nokia should just make an updated version of this one for additional features like wifi and flash for camera.

I have been using this phone since it was first released in Germany, I did not experience any malfunction in the phone but now I did. My speaker is becoming too low.. When I am texting while playing music in loudspeaker mode, the speaker don't play my tracks.. but when I squeeze the speaker part, it plays.. Dropped it many times already .. Do you think that the dropping is the cause of my speaker malfunctioning ? And also my original battery is functioning but lasts only about 5hrs. Pls answer . tnx. :)

5300 is a awesome phone i use it alomost 4 years and i dont have any problem with this phone until now i still use it and the only thing that will be broken is the case.

I have beeen using this unit since it was first released here in the philippines.. I did not experienced any problems with it until now that I have used it for about 4-5 years by now , I am facing speaker problem .. sometimes it has sounds and sometimes don't. The original battery that came with the unit is still working strong. It still can last for about 2-3 days on heavy usage.. And the original housing of my phone is still fine.. No hard scratches or big dings.. And I never let the phone being dropped from my hand .. And of course, because of too much care.. It is still functioning . Nyc work nokia ..

Its a nice phone, i've use it for 2 yrs before i started havin prblem wit it. I advise if u wish to purchase dis phone, buy it new u wil enjoy it. D speaker is loud, good for browsin and d original batery last long. D only prblem i'm havin nw after my two yrs of use is network and flex problem.

You must have bought a defective model. Mine is 2years old and still working fine.

the battery of this phone is irritating me.

my battery is only class A and it only last for 3.30-5hours.

is the original battery last long??

or my phone has a damage that's why it's battery life is too short?

2 me it d best phone i ave ever used ave got no problem i can't handle and it ok 4 my likeing ever if it get stolen i will buy it again....lol
