I had this phone for 4 weeks when the screen cracked. I didn't apply any force, and it wasn't dropped. Very flimsy phone, and am extremely unyhappy!

i bought one &i like it very much but ihave one problem which is the voice isn't loud especialy the alarm clock what can i do?

Got two units of 5310 on Feb. 11. My main problem with both is that these units oftentime hangs since my first use. After locking the keypad, I can't unlock it anymore since the unit hung. I had to remove and replace the battery then key in the current date & time upon restarting.

the phone is alright but the only problem i have expirience is that it crashes some time or most times it hangs while in use

Guys! latest firmware of 5310 is available now. Those shity phone freeze during music playback now is fixed!

This is the worst nokia phone I have ever used in my whole entire existence then followed by my n95. I got this phone on four days ago. It keeps on restart at it's own discretion. Camera is very poor. Music on speaker is messed up(compared to my former phone n73). It hooks on the 2gb memory card supplied. You can't search by tracks on the music player, it can only be done through the gallery and it hooks once you select the song. I'm still using it to browse right now but planning to change it once I get a better option. Pls could someone using a 5610 send me a review on it so I could know if it's better of this piece me rubbish. Thanks.

i love this phone very happy with the features just wish the speakers were a little more powerful on average very competent phone

the felling and my opinion about NOKIA 5310 is.....this kind of cellphone was very nice and cold to the eye(s)...abd i want to experience that kind of felling...yahh..so interesting..kind of mobilephone.

On 4th of Feb 08 i bought the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic . This cell gets into hang mode very often. so much so that when i switch it after struggling a lot with the hang mode it then takes me directly to the date and time screen - in which i have to every time key in the current date and time. This had become a regular feature.
Hence on 16th of Feb 08 i went back to the dealer and got it REPLACED. However this new cell is also showing the SAME problem.
Can you please suggestion what is the matter??

i just bought it .. so here is a list of disappointments:S
a) camera (like others said) takes 7-8secs ... so till than u have to stay still
b) .. it's a music phone so excuse the camera. . but what's with the speakers! .. i've NEVER EVER heard a sound soo low..i can't hear a thing .. forget public places .. i could barely hear it ringing in my room ..other nokia's have such great sounds .. i cant even listen to music through speakers.. i use L6 instead to listen to the couple of songs stored in it instead :S ..
i don't know what nokia thought ".. hey our phones have great sounds .. lets do a prank with the people today .. we'll say that everything sux in this phone .. cuz it's a music phone .. but instead .. we'll put the worst sound system is this phone .. EVER!"
c)recording .. my friend yesterday tried to record his guitars .. i opened the recorded. . and it couldn't record a shit .. we had to do it with lg kg200 instead
d)..it's keypad gives me a serious thumbache after writting just one message
e).. ppl say forget speakers .. listen through head phones .. well i tried ALL headphones (including nokia's) . it never gets in the headphone slot properly .. u'll have to fight a lot .. in and out .. to find the right place where u can hear the sound from BOTH the ear pieces .. and than stay still .. even the slightest shake would move it from it's position..
f)and even after fixing the headphones.. you won't get the proper stereo sound .. i was listening to a song ..and couldn't hear a part of the guitars . .cuz somehow the left ear piece wasn't catching it .. :S ..
g)oh and yeah .. i even have trouble listening to the caller on the other end .. gota scream again n again 'DUDE .. SPEAK LOUDER!'
h) the data cable is a hell torment to insert in the cell slot .. how do you do that? mini usb's cover never comes off properly .. seems like its gonna break if i tried once more .. really hard to put in the usb .. and even my brother said . don't connect the usb again .. i think it's cover will loosen up ...:S
... don't remember other problems at the moment .. but will tell you as soon as i remember them :)
