I really disapointed by this dumb phone. It's like to 'restart' when we listening mp3's for sometimes. After restart, it will update the music library again. It's really pain in the ass to wait for that. I have more than 300 songs.
Not just that problem. When I listening to every songs I hear a little sound that disturbing. It's like, "tzzzt..." for a couple times.
I wonder if this happens to everyone.
But, I must say the display, it's very good tough.

Well, working with telephones everyday, you can get used to hearing all sorts of comments about a certain mobile phone. Express Music isn`t for hearing on the loudspeaker, it`s for headphones, and the headphones are awesome.
The name says it all, EXPRESS MUSIC => Headphones, not for speakers!!
It is very rezistent to shock, i know, i dropped it once down the stairs, the only disadvantage is that the camera it has no autofocus in zoom mode, but takes nice pictures.
The design is great, unlike the 5610. Keypad is very slick and manuvrable.
I fully recommend this phone to music listeners, with headphones!

No one should use the loud speaker to listen to music in their phone, they are battery killer and music on a mono speaker? No way! Just think about the laptops, only a few to none of them have a decent sound, so you can't expect a small phone like this to have a good speaker to listen to ur music.
Instead, use a headphone. U can use any standard headphone on this phone just like an ipod, and the sound quality is stunning!!!(see many comments and professional reviews on this)

The 5310 xpress music is better than the SE W810 in everyway. I used to have a SE W810 which disappointed me a lot. i sold it and went for the 5310 and i have no regrets about it.

well i didn't mean to be rude. neither i or anyone else i know are having the problems that you are having with your handset. but bare in mind this phone did have a few faults in the ones manufactured october and november and maybe december. but i'm not having any faults in my unit. good cam quality, don't take long to save an image, good sounds (better than sony ericsson. i and other 5310 users over here are very satisfied about the sounds. its almost good as the ipod. crystal clear) the only disadvantages i see is that this don't come with a flasher and auto-focus (incase you want to take pictures of small insects) and no dedicated camera key.

@ --matchmaker007--:
you have to plug in your hands free in order to listen to music like in every other phone. that even through the loud speaker you have to plug in the head set which works as the broadcast receiver.

@ RACHEL:
well packet data is used for sending multimedia messages as well as browsing the internet with your mobile phone. if your SIM card has the feature activated you may go to the official nokia web site (www.nokia.com) and get the settings done in your phone in order to use this facility.

The camera quality is totally acceptable. if you are more focused in the camera you should've bought a cybershot or something with a 3.2mpxl cam. This phone is for music lovers. not for the people who are concerned about the cam.

Rvey;
in order to send and receive mms, u hav 2 activate this service from your service provider. they'll do the settings in ur phone as well. otherwise jst get the service activated and go to nokia.com, select your continent and then go to help and support. there you'll find a link "ORDER SETTINGS". go there, select ur phn and follow a coupl f few easy steps. pretty easy!
