I have had it for 1 day, but seems good phone, sound & visual's seem great. Having being used to basic phones before I reckon I'm still on a learning curve with Hi spec phones.JJJJJJJ. (Liverpool.)

to all of guys, by seeing your forum i think this set got only looks and only looks, so go for 6233 which is the best NONONSE mobile because it got all the functions of 5310 and also got 3G, stereo speakers that beats N73,5700 flat and i mean absolutely flat,great VIDEO RECORDING at DVD LIKE QUALITY means 15fps of VGA recording like N81, 5310 cost around 10500 INR whereas 6233 cost just at 7000 INR

Hmmm...nice looking fone, charming, excellent sound quality, superb graphics, FM Radio with RDS Camera is not bad...and so many other fearures...BUT!!!
Yeah, it has got that restarting problem automatically without any reason, some times doesn't show your contacts stored on Sim card...needs charging everyday for about 2 and a half hour!!!

I bought this phone for about two weeks now and so far I have not experienced any problems.
It is thin, light in weight, relatively long battery life (depending on usage) so all is okay for me.

@terri
u want loud music & u r considering 5310...LOL
u can't even hear ur ringtones in 5310. go for n73 & don't mind spending some xtra bucks on it,at least u won't regret later. n73 is a much better phone than 5310.

you're absolutely right PAVAN, nokia seldom produces a well balance handset, its either good design bad performance or the other way around

I went to the store with Sony Ericsson W710i in mind. After buying Nokia 6270 10 months back, I decided not to buy a Nokia again. But having seen the piece I was impressed with the design and the exceptional music performance. However after using it for the last 2 weeks I realized that my earlier decision to not to go for Nokia is correct. The pros of this phone are illusive. It's slim, good design, good looks but all these thing aren't going to benefit you as you use it. But it's cons will definitely bother you a lot. The ring volume is too low at it's maximum and there is every chance that you miss many calls especially when you are in a noisy environment. If you turn the vibrator on...the battery which is weak by default will let you down more quickly than it otherwise does. The battery is very special that it takes more time to recharge than the talk time it supports!! Coming to camera...worst of the 2 MP class. I can't bet to compare this cam with any 2 MP cam of a sony ericsson mobile. Nokia is just cheating the buyers. Even the slightest of hand movement while taking the picture will end up producing a totally blurred snap. To add to it there is no flash...the screen is nice with 16 million colors but to save on battery life Nokia has set a very low brightness level for the screen which the user cannot modify..compare the brightness of the screen with any other model of Nokia and you will realize it. Overall it's phone with nice looks but worst performance. Only good feature is it's music clarity over earphones. My sincere advice is not to buy Nokia they show up their models to illude buyers. To add the package contains a standard charger with three pins.Ofcourse the third pin is non-functional but it disallows you from charging your phone in train or some other place where only 2-pin plug is available...bonus bonanza....I've decided to dispose this piece off as early as possible and go for a sony ericsson...

had the 5310 for the past 2 weeks - its slim, lite, and the standard headset jack is a cool touch.. ***BUT: the speakers on that phone are simply not loud enough. im not talking 'listening to music'-not loud enough, but 'not hearing your phone ring!'-not loud enough.. really - big time! kept missing calls/msgs. went to the store and had them check a different phone, it was the same. mine wasnt faulty or anything..
a real shame, i really wanted to love that little thing. liked everything else about it.. its pretty simple and cool to use apart from that. but hey - these are really the basics..! ended up sending it back and exchanging it for a different phone. :(
