i have this phone for about a month now, to tell u honestly, until now i havent experience any restart or freezes.. i'm wondering why lots of users here are experiencing the opposite.
Anyway, i recommend this phone to those people who are looking for a music phone that has superb sound quality,w/ descent features, solid built w/ a nice design.
unlike before this costs a little bit xpensive but now, its more affordable for everybody =)

the following tests are done:
- missed calls
- playing 10 .mp3 songs continuesly
- getting calls while playing .mp3/games
no restart problems at all. bought the phone in indonesia 1 months ago for the price of USD 250.
cons: the loudspeaker is lower than the rest of nokia models but sufficient for me to hear it in the room. However in crowded area, the vibration function make up for it. poor quality camera and video. (not important for me)
pro: good quality earphone sounds, great design and great keypad use. fast interface, flash message function, small and light.
conclusion: very worth it, BUY IT!. if this phone has no vibration function, i would not buy it.

till now my 5310 has 402 msgs dont know how much more it will take but it has 34 mb internal mem so it can take more i m sure...

Is the 5310 speakers really that bad? How loud is it? Can it be heard if i put it in my pocket or at a noisy area?
I think the Sony Ericsson W660i has better speakers.. what do u think bout the W660i speakers? and is Sony Ericsson reliable and can last long like Nokia?

Any available firmware for this phone? Pls. inform us! Oh another thing is that the phone doesn't crash anymore if you use .aac or m4a formats! the phone only crashes if you use .mp3 files! it's working for me!

When i switch the camera on to take a picture the screen graphics is moving slowely so you should not move your hand at all or else the picture is blurred Can someone tell me how i can fix IT ???????

Please tell me if it works.
I am between 5310, w610 and rokr z6.
My first choice is the 5310 by the possibility of generic accessories (3.5mm jack and microSD cards), screen and the reputation of that Nokia grabs signal anywhere. But I listen to opinions and suggestions.
