from what country you are?,
we both have the same question. honestly if someone can assure me that nokia5310 will not give us a headache of re starting, hang ups.etc....
definitely, i would like to have this unit. it really catch my eyes.
but i'm really hesitant.
they said, you have just to get the latest released of 5310 (january2008)... because that problems exists only on the first batch.. i dont know if im gonna rely on that...

To the the guy who said the Telit G80 is good phone...
The G80 SUCKS...
My old nokia 3220 works better then it.
Anyways,the 5310 rocks but for a bit more money you can get a 5610;trust me, you won't be deceved!

I run i N73, the loud speaker rocks... to be honest only the N81 and the 6110 would have an equal or better loud speaker. I'm sure the actual music playing feature is far better on the 5310, but if it's loud speaker you want, the n73 will Sh8*t all over the 5310, the ringtones will be the same...

guys, i have been eyeing this phone the post few weeks but after reading some of the comments here, i had second thoughts.. just have a few questions though. it has been said that the FW 3.60 has the problem with rebooting so my question is, has anyone tried updating to the latest fw version (not sure if it is 3.63) and does it solve the problem? and also to those who has the 3.63 version, are you still having the same problem? thanks!

5310 does not have very good speakers but if you are using earphones or headsets the quality of music is phantastic. Having a 3.5 jack for the earphones is a plus. you can pair the phone with the best speakers out there. i love my 5310 but sometimes i get ticked off when the glitch of "restarting" happens. its happens only rarely but it really does happen. hopefully nokia releases a new firmware for this.

I like the design. I don't hear music. Just want to use it as a regular phone. So does the battery last more than a day? Does it have a good reception?

hi! just want to ask.
im planning to buy this phone, but unfortunately after reading forums/topics about nokia5310, i want to back out and just choose different unit.
it hangs up without any reaons, reboot, got popping cracking sounds, etc......
some people said that these problems exists only on the first batch units that was released, v3.60. so does it means that the latest units are okay ...
is true?.
