My son has had this phone forever, every time it gets damaged I have taken into Nokia Care in Auckland and they fix it for free. After the first complete repair, new faceplate, new vol control on side (this breaks all the time) they are now chrging me, but the first repair the phone came back like new. I recommend this phone as it is sturdy and small and can do most things on it.

Hi

My mom is using this phone from the time it launched.she likes it only because it is light weight.But the camera is very bad not in terms of resolution but when you click ,it keeps on rotating and never stops.
I stood since my childhood to get the snap..it still dint come out
Evn though she doesnt want to change she is facing problem with the memory card,phone keeps switching off.Thank god finally she will change now :0

my nokia 5310 is not supporting any mp4 vedios.

while it should support that format.

i don't know.

ya me too using this model from last 2 years... this is awesome piece i have never seen.... small in size,less weight long battery.. even its supporting 3g.. ya good phone..

I had this phone going on four years. I didn't want a slide or flip phone as I just wanted one I could pick up and mash a button when answering calls. This was a perfect choice as the button is large and right in the middle, easy for a thumb to hit. I've had no problems with it at all. Only use it for voice so do not know how it would have operated for internet. Took a bit of understanding in how to use all the features. Battery doesn't seem to last as long as my old phone and a half hour of game playing pretty much drains it. Not too concerned about that though. Buttons are large but probably not a good phone for texting. Don't text so that's not a concern for me either. Have trouble seeing the time on phone and have tried to change the font size and color to make it more visible. Not sure if it's possible. Love the lock feature which doesn't interfere with the answering of incoming calls. On my old phone I kept hitting buttons and making phone calls on my quick dial feature. It had a lock feature but you had to unlock it before receiving calls so I kept it off. That was the main reason I upgraded to this Nokia. I also wanted a music player I could carry around with me at work. It met my needs and I believe this phone could still keep up with todays technology.

I bought it about 2 years ago,i think (if you want to consider it's price in comparison to other cell phones)it's really worth buing it!i'm satisfied with it.except it's camera,i've never found anw other problem with this phone although i work with it alot!after two years,it really hasn't it's performence.

I've had this phone for about 3 years. I can't complain much about it, it plays music nice, the display is nice too and even though its a tiny phone and one of the thinnest it never broke, I've dropped it on the street, IN THE TOILET and It never showed a scratch. The only this is that its memory is tiny(not a big deal tho since you get a 2gb card when you buy the phone and you can also get bigger cards like 8gb or more i forgot the limit), ram is tiny as well so the whole phone is pretty laggy (i had a folder full of games that opened in like 10-20 seconds) and the camera, GOD it's absolutely shitty. Especially if you're like me and have pretty shaky hands you'll NEVER make a good photo, it has like 5 fps GOD horrible, the video too is very low res, just sucks. But that isn't what this phone is made for, it's just made for music and maybe viewing some photos images whatever and does a pretty good job at it. I even plugged my computer 3.5 inch slot headphones and I couldn't notice the difference between my computer's audio quality and this phone.

this was my favorite low end phone... used it when i went running - tunes and an emergency phone all in one!! wish i cld put my hands on one again

yeh i use this phon last 3 year some time its hange but after update the phon its ok no problem its going good and good every day and battery time is also good not bad

cute slim and handy..have been using it for 3 years.dropped it many times.but i wudnt advise u to go for it.
when switched on,it takes 20 mins to become stable for me to use the aplications.
now its freezing.
even without the memory card, its cmpletely bloked. Its dead. tried 100times, still now working.
