Everybody have to know about nokia-5310, It is true that it is only for show nothing else because every time its going to restart and no high volume so why people would like to buy this phone?
I am thinking about buying this phone today.
I currently own a nokia 6131 and have a 2GB memory card. I would like to know if this memory card would be able to work with the 5310.Please assist.
Myra, 18 Jul 2008can anyone suggest any compatible battery to juice up power supply for this phone? tnx! hi, desides the battery probs, how is this pjone in general? i have got an n73 music edition and just wanna get this as my 2nd "toy". . .
got the phone a month ago. Great phone. Had 9 w580i's before... all broke all faulty. MP3 player incredible. Bought a 4 gig memory card and its essentially like have an mp3 player! Battery life is reasonable.. havnt really used the camera yet. Only thing which i have noticed better on the w580i is the internet browser which is an updated version of opera(which u can dl anyways), and the camera is better on w580i. overall the 5310 i would give it a solid 8 outta 10. It is GREAT for texting on too..very smooth and fast
i was just wondering when it says voice command does it mean it reads your messages and tells you who is calling
can anyone suggest any compatible battery to juice up power supply for this phone? tnx!
Has anyone else tried this to see if the increase battery capacity works well with the phone?
yeah! the photos is not so great at all. i regret buying this instead of the 6300 one... i was so pissed by the camera...God! why u made this? 'm planning to buy the n95 now... even though this 5310 of mine is just new... maybe 2months...
RR, 16 Jul 2008Hey all, the ones who are having the reboot problem - have you all tried upgrading the firmwar... moreMy phone also rebooting sometimes, my firmware version is v3.60,
should i update the fireware. please help me.
Its a very beautiful sleek cell...but want to know how many speakers does it have.....and i want some beautiful themes on it how do i get them........any website....
With 5.91 I am still waiting for the reboot. hehe. I had the v 3.63 and the phone rebooted 3 or 4 times per day. Now am testing the v5.91 and works fine, and it improve some things of the phone.
I like the sleek design. I enjoyed a week exporing all the features, music player, radio, camera, voice commands etc. Compared to my piece of crap outdated Nokia, this phone has everything packed into it. The radio displays what song is being played at the moment. Great phone for great price. Though, the one thing that bothers me is the stupid charger. I don't understand why the wire has to be made out of grippy rubber. It really sucks when it gets tangled up with my headset. It also sucks taking and putting it in my pockets because it doesn't slide out/in, it sticks! Overall, the phone is a deal.
I forgot to mention anything about the camera ... it's not great but not bad either ... but if I wanted great pictures I'd use an actual camera. Its fine for taking caller ID pics, and the zoom is pretty good, better than on my old RAZR.
Speaker phone ... um I never use that function so I don't know how well it does, I use my old Bluetooth for hands free calling. I can understand the caller better and they appreciate it more than speaker phone because who likes talking to someone on a speaker phone? LOL
I have had this phone (in purple) for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love it!! The menus are user friendly, the reaction time from selecting an option to it going to it is very fast (wish my PC were as fast), the buttons are all slightly bubbled along the center so that it is easy to tell when your finger is sliding on to another number and the side controls for the music / radio are very easy to use and are well placed. It does ring and vibrate if you want for texts, messages and calls.
And I have to say it's the radio that I most love. I work in a cube environment and while we can have radios on, they have to be so low it is impossible to make out talk radio shows clearly, but with this I just tune in to my fav show (Dom and Jane) via the earbuds and voila!
I only have about 150 songs on the phone right now, but that is 4 times more than I am able to fit on my old MP3 player. And I'm no where near filling up the 1G memory.
I love being able to sign in to my AIM account from my phone (each IM is a text msg) and the ability to check my gmail (if I wanted to pay for that extra service).
The front panel is large and you can change the font size so these ever increasingly older eyes can read without issue.
The sound is really good, better thru the earbuds of course, but still very decent even when playing opera or heavy metal.
My only slight "complaint" is that the time display in the upper right hand corner is still very small. I could wish for it to be larger, and visible at all times, even when on power save, but hey, not a huge deal at all.
All in all, this blows that old sack ' s*** RAZR I used to have out of the water!
speaker phone speaker phone speaker phone, quality? how loud pls someone that has owned the device????
Great sound quality. I'm not sure about the camera (so-so) but I don't use that as much. The screen resolution is really nice so if you're looking for a good music phone with a great screen, this is it. This is the first phone I've seriously considered using primarily for music. Oh yah - I don't have the problem mentioned in previous posts concerning re-boots.
Great phone for music. Camera is poor quality. I really like the phone except small minor details. I can't figure out how to download videos. Phone says unable to open after I get them downloaded.
