Nokia's aiming on efficiency in FP2. You should hopefully see some good result in battery usage. And standby time is not everything. The real thing here is actual usage.

I like its design and features, which will be balanced with its price.

250 hours standby is good, satisfactory enough. But my standard is 300 hours. Nokia should've raised battery life standards for this one because it's a very promising handset, most specially because it belongs to the XpressMusic family.

Anyways, many potential owners will still find this phone very, very attractive.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-06-24 00:11 from mD6Ywhen it says 'upto x hours playback' it means thats the longest it will play for if you have it on the lowest volume and playing the simplest song that takes least battery to play... you just have to consider this when looking at the specification.

Its perfect for me, its just like my 6120classic, with better sound quality, 3.5mm jack, better buttons, fp2, and the navigation button isn't chrome painted like 6120, which peels off..those with 6120classic should consider upgrading to this phone

Is this unit already available in the Philippines? How much does it cost? Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks viperkid for the link to the review. This is exactly the type of phone I need. The only drawback I think for now would be its keypad. But I can't really tell for sure if I won't like it since I haven't actually held one yet...

Can't wait for this. I've been meaning to buy a new phone to replace my ancient 6600. lol

Whenever a New XpressMusic phone comes along, all hell breaks loose, from SE owners admiring the W-series, to Nokia owners indicating how it lacks this-or-that feature.

All are world-class companies, with world-class reputation, providing us with world-class technology - on most occasions atleast : ) -

I always thought of Nokia as brilliant marketers, supported by a massive line-up of products that appeals to every budget, every need, every person.

This 5320 XM is the perfect example, having earned its XM labeling.

Perfect Sound Quality, a Boost in playback hours, 3.5 mm audio jack - still looks like the 5310XM so far - , I am a person that wants all that, but... I am a sucker for symbian, so no 5310 for me, its 5320 that would hit the jackpot. For all that, and its, dedicated gaming keys, dedicated music keys, navi-wheel.. Faster operation than a Java based mobile, nice design...

so its basically a smartphone, that focuses on Music and Games. If thats what I need then I will get exactly that, without having to pay for features I wont use.

do I want more along with whats mentioned above? Wi-Fi, GPS, High-Resolution Cameras... Then I will pay more, for an N-series device ...

I just love the way Nokia categorized their handsets, making sure that every single one of the -almost-, is at the right price, for the right features for the right person.

Cant wait to try the N96 : )

d button on top right (wd d XpressMusic caption below it) of d screen is d own key n is also used for d 'say n play feature' if u press n hold it down. of course, d one on d top left of d screen is d front cam for video calling

btw, i after checking d audio tests done by M-R, from wat i understand, 5320XM is a tiny bit better at 'frequency response'

If possible when the 5320XM is already available there in Manila, could you please inform me by posting it here? Please.. Because usually, phones are released earlier there in Manila than in Cebu. Thank you once again Viperkid!
