this phone is awesome. i used it for nearly 1 and 1/2 years. now dont find it nywhere.picture quality is superb in daylight as it has no flash. sound capability is tremendous. and u dont have to press a button to see the screen in daylight as it quite visible under the sun unlike most of the phone these days. simply a great phone. my best till date!

The only problems i really am concern about this phoneare the:
1. Smallish screen size, really eye straining.
2. Keypad comes off but with superglue this is a minor problem.
3. Slow CPU - this is a smartphone w/ s60v3
I love this phone, is very practical and handy.

This phone is really a big trouble
first its keypad is not atall good for typing
very poor battery backup
Phone Skin degrades very quicky after u buy it
Hangs too often
very small screen
Its a big problem never ever think to buy it....

Guys, my 5500's battery doesnt charge at all !!
Even though when i connect the charger the battery level indicates its charging, even after 5 hours battery level stays same.
And sometimes when i connect the charger there's no response in the phone at all :(
I think there's some problem with that charging port.
any idea how much it will cost to replace it ?

i now use n97.before that i had n95.and even vefore that i had 5500.its just great.it was my very first phone.i just love it

The phone fully supports 2 GB memory card. I have this phone for almost a year and I'm using it with a 2 GB card. Of course, it's damn slow with a card almost full like mine, it loads the gallery or the mp3 player 10-15 seconds. But it supports 2 GB card, for those who say it doesn't
