hey i have got back a new piece, From NPD. They replaced my old 5530(its camera key damaged, and slide key loosened) with new 5530.
But still, the Hardware Lock Switch is loose and also the Volume Keys are also Loosened, and they make some kind of weird Noise when moving the phone.

Are all experiencing the same problem or only me?
And also i am not able to talk with any headset on this phone(for both incomming and outgoing calls). I am only able to hear the music through the Headset. I tried many headsets, but still the problem is there.

Are anyone facing the same problem?

If anyone has any solution please Reply.

Well.. If we talk about appearance... For me, 5530 is so sexy than 5800... The look and feel of 5530 is just awesome and I really don't like the design of 5800 at all... (When you hold both phones then you'll realize what I'm saying... I'm not saying 5800 design is bad.. But 5530 design is so much better...)

Touch sensitivity of 5530 is little bit improved compared to 5800... But this is hardly noticeable... So don't worry too much about it...

Access time to Gallery and SMS is same in both 5800 and 5530.. However it's definitely better than N73... My friend near me at my office.. He has an N73 and he always complains about its slow operation.. Nokia 5530 performs way too faster than that...

I'll be getting this unit very very soon. And yet, i am not decided which color to get.. I am thinking of getting the black on red, but, when i browsed the malls 2 days ago, i saw the white on blue, and it was oh, so fabulous. Now, i am stock on two choices. I like them both. But, i only need to choose ONE. Please help me on this. :)


I am also thinking of getting the black on grey, but i've heard it's not available yet. I am from the Phils. and haven't asked yet. :)

What do you suggest 5530xm or 5800xm judging on looks, touch sensitivity and most importantly ACCESS Time for Sms and gallery etc..?

Since i have a nokia n73 and it is SLOWWW!!! with 2GB memory and aproximatly 1GB full of pictures and msgs and some apps and its very sloww!!!! and i hate that ALOT!!!

You have to save them in your computer dude...!
Then open the signer application and insert those two files in it... (Just open the signer application... Then you'll know what to do...)

If money is not an issue to you, then I would suggest you to go with Nokia X6...
Otherwise this mobile is cool...
Nokia N86 (with a very good camera) is also good, but its sound out put quality (not the volume...) is not so good as Music Xpress series... Nokia X6 is same as Nokia Music Xpress series in terms of Music quality...

Yeah.. It's true.. Latest firmware for Nokia 5530 is version 20.0.080 and now it's been several months it's been released...!

There are four chinks... But I don't really know whether there are four loudspeakers too... (It seems there are...)

Sound is really nice and clear... And with stereo effects, sound is very good... But not so loud I have to admit..

I'm sorry brother... I would also be very happy if I could do this... (Replacing default browser with Opera mobile..) but so far, there is no way to do so... (At least I couldn't find a way to do that...)

I am not an authorized Nokia representative to say something like this... But I don't think they are offering international warranty... May be if you buy your mobile from Nokia itself there's a chance... But from a retail seller I don't think so... Why don't you ask this from the seller...?
