The latest firmware for this mobile is 20.0.080 (But this firmware can't be installed in every region I'm afraid...) In such cases there are other methods to achieve that however...

Yeah... As you said battery door is little bit loose... But I don't think it has a wobbling issue what so ever...
As I've discovered most of people who complain about this back cover wobbling issue, they have been mislead by touch screen vibration..
Please do the followings...

Go to Menu - Settings - Personal - Profiles - (Select and the profile you're using, my case it's General) - Click on 'Personalize'
There you will see a list of options and when you scroll down, you will see 'Touch screen vibration'
Set it to "Off"
and save changes and activate the profile..

See the changes... If you don't feel wobbling anymore, now you know what has made that...!
If you still think your mobile is wobbling then that's not the touch screen vibration... In that case, you better put a piece of paper or something like that in between your battery and battery cover...

Regarding your second question,
Yeah... As this is a Smart mobile, we have plenty of applications out there... We can make this mobile just like i-phone in case of interface...

For an example, you can get "Threaded view" SMS pattern just like in i-phone and the one you need too ("Unlocking method of sliding the icon on the screen").. I've got those applications installed in my mobile and they work just fine...

But I'm afraid you'll have to hack your mobile in order to install those.. Please refer my previous posts on 'how to hack your mobile'...

After hacking your mobile, please visit www.dotsis.com and search for below applications...

1) Free i-SMS (SMS threaded view like i-phone)
2) Screen Locker (Animated sliding screen locker on the screen)

At last, let me tell you one thing here... This is a SMART mobile... So you don't really have to ask "Is there any application to do this... to do that..." because most probably 'There is...'
For an example, 'Is there any application to open and edit Microsoft Office 2007 files?'. Answer is 'Yes.. There is'. 'Is there any application to navigate and explore my office network through Wifi?' Answer is 'Yes... There is...'
Now you see....!

You're talking about the default Nokia music player right...?
Well... There's no player theme customization bundled with Music player itself in Nokia 5530...
But with certain themes (overall phone themes I mean...) the music player back ground also changes...
I suppose you've seen such a change in theme...

Try to install a new theme to your mobile and see whether music player background also has changed...

If they can be played on N81, then even without putting the *.mp4 extension, they should work with Nokia 5530..

And just renaming the extension will not change the file type... So if they can't be played in 5530, I don't think after renaming they can be... If so, you'll have to use a video converter to convert the video to the *.mp4 format... There are plenty of video converters out there... Free as well as paid versions.. Find one of them and do your job...

thank you for your suggestion, i already hacked my phone and installed adobe, it was the first time i ever hacked a phone, i found a good guide, but will this make any damage to my phone? i'm not planning on installing anything else....yet, just really want to have an adobe reader...

I just wanna ask if what's the best phone ever for you? I love to take photos, listen to music. do some web, so basically need wifi. but it may or may not be touch screen, slide or clam. Just need those features.. Thanks..

the wobbly back cover is a common gripe. fortunately, the back cover of my 5530xm fits snugly, but it is not perfect because when i press near the camera lens, the cover doesn't feel very solid.

Hi Nuwan,

Do I have to save the .cer and .key file on the computer or on the cellphone. If on the cell then is it in the phone memory or memory card....little confused.

Hi Nuwan,

Thanx for the info about the keypad lock rattling issue. Today I observed one more thing. Battery Door is little loose and whenever I press anything on screen the cellphone vibrates or wobbles. Is it normal? One more thing. i would like unlock my keypad or screen jus the way we do in Iphone. is there a application using which I can just use the screen and unlock the keypad, am not comfortable with the slider

I am usinyer which is real player,but when i'mconverting the videos,i just use mp4 or any pm4 without minding the dot or asterix.I'm also changing the video sizes in accordance with the player's compatibility.I will try your advise Bro and will see if it's ok.Tnx again...
