I am selling my 5530 xpressmusic, it is one of the best expressmusic phone nokia has ever made. has a nice stereo surround sound that you can listen to music on 3d.
includes 4gb memory card with lots of songs (my collection though) and application like ramblower, very good antivirus and mobile guard, quick office, and very good dictionary and many more.
has a 3.2 camera which is very good in good light condition and somewhat ok in poor light or dark room.
only for P5,000 in a very very good condition. just contact me at jetttt @ rocketmail . com (asap, the moderator might delete this post) thanks
Anonymous, 19 Sep 2011This phone is very, very slow. Had it for two years! Wish I didn't. It shuts down all the time... morelol!
you are saying it's slow yet you used it for 2 years. i am pretty sure you had a lot of time and chance to change your mobile but still you stick with it.

US, 21 Oct 2011Hy.... I got update 40.0.003 via OTA. I checked nokia 5530 support site but new update wasn't ... moreSame situation here: I was automatically informed about the update, downloaded it OTA and installed it subsequentally. Nokia site does not mention this update as aimed at 5530 but specifies it specifically for the 5230 instead.
Still, no complaints here: I have also noticed a new browser and indeed some overall performance improvements. Have not yet encountered other changes, but I've only just installed it so it's still early days.
Hy.... I got update 40.0.003 via OTA. I checked nokia 5530 support site but new update wasn't mentioned there.. any one else got this update... internet browser is updated this time.
adi4frnds, 19 Oct 2011can any 1 explain the difference between capacitive touchscreen and resistive touchscreen??? w... moreResistive: This form of touchscreens need pressure to activate. There are two layers, one on top and the other below. A very minute constant gap is between them. So when we touch a point and press it, the both films come in contact at that point. This is detected by the ICs in the handset and your touch is registered.
Capacitive: This is more advanced than resistive and much more sensitive. It needs no pressure, just a simple touch. Human body are good conductors of electric charges and our skin has a certain amount of charge (static electricity type). When we touch the screen, this charge in our finger tips is detected by the sensors located in all four corners of the screen. A coordinate can be registered in resonse to this and the mobile knows where you touched it.
Resitive touchscreens are less reactive and less sensitive but can last longer than capacitive. Capacitive has the advantage of multitouch and very high sensitivity. Capacitive screens being only touch sensitive, it can't be activated by anything else, for eg A stylus or your nails etc. It needs skin. But resistive touchscreens can be activated by any material as long as a certain amount of force is applied (enough to connect the two layers).
can any 1 explain the difference between capacitive touchscreen and resistive touchscreen??? wiating???
I am using this mobile last 3 months, but i think its sound not so good at all.......its camera is not so good but its look awesome.
good camera...can able 2 support any fomat of music..i m luving dis phone n stil m using it....
Some people comment without even being able to touch the phone. Pro's: good ENOUGH camera, very good music, faster if updated via FOTA. Con's: if you don't update it it's slow, not all videos in mp4 plays (except if you have some video 3rd party app) earpiece is kinda weak so you gotta go loudspeaker and turn the volume down.
overall it is giving me my money's worth.
it's Interface is fully customize-able. It can look like android, iphone or simply the symbian look. SWYPE application is good for making your SMS easier. it has TONS of capabilities.. just explore and you'll enjoy this phone.
carlo, 12 Oct 2011good day everyone:) can someone please tell me if this phone is still available in the Philipp... moreI suggest you skip this cell and go for a c5-03 instead. 5530 is totally outdated now and the price is not justified with its features. Or you can wait some time for the nokia 500 to arrive.
