i went to npd in delhi they said it will be available on sat this week for 11990/- only
one more thing, the back cover is REALLY LOOSE. Once you use the phone, you will feel it immediately. So DON'T DROP IT. It's fragile.
about battery life, it's actually fine IF YOU KNOW HOW TO PRESERVE THE BATTERY LIFE. This phone lasted 4 days on me with very heavy usage (camera, music, calls, text).
I always lock the screen whenever i put it in my pocket.
the accelerometer also SUCKS.
It takes two to three seconds to rotate. It is a huge downfall specially when texting. But the nicest thing i noticed is the screen. The colors are very vibrant. 5530's screen is much better than the iphone's. Yes i am still typing this through my 5530 :)
guys, the camera in this phone is only good in bright light. In low light and dark places, i can see blurry green dots when capturing images. It's only good when flash is activated.
Z, 19 Oct 2009which color better??white. I got the white one and it's awesome.
Btw, im typing this on my new 5530 :D

guys i did sacrifice my E63 just to get this one but it wasnt wasted because this one is really great "all in one" except for the camera dont expect even if its 3.2 mega, but the video is good....
guys i got a problem the case at the back part is not well attached, i mean its moving as you noticed while using it,
one more thing if youre gonna press on what you gonna press its always twice,,, and thats not comfortable for me otherwise its no longer a friendly user...
i just got dismayed with that problem
well got nothing to do with it instead just to love and take good care of it

Gilly Rocket''', 19 Oct 2009Hey frnd every things works perfect, but i c'ant find Quick Office, Adobe reader,Flash player,... moreThese apps (Quick Office, Adobe reader,Flash player,Zip extracter) are not installed on our new 5800. We have to install them ourselves. I haven't installed these apps as yet, i'll try some day. They are not free though, but you can install cracked versions from one of the following sites:
www . dotsis . com
www . mobicreed . com
(remove spaces from above links)
@eshaan will be able to give you more details regarding apps.

BARACK, 18 Oct 2009Is this the cheapest Nokia with wifi (WLAN)?Either this or 5630, which has better features than this, but no touch screen, but else they're the same. These two are cheapest wifi devices, since Nokia rarely puts on wifi on the classic range...
Hard to choose between this and 5630. Mainly, its whether you prefer touch screen, or 3G + ergonomic keypad + better sunlight legibility + faster processor.
I just had my mum buy me a 5530, from UK, and it cost around €150.
Meeran, like I mentioned earlier this is a common problem on the 5530. The battery on the 5800 is too tight to get out, thats why I think it was designed like this but it poses another problem!!. This is what I have done...Place a strip of paper, fold it just enough, place it over the battery and close the cover...problem solved....looks like nokia wishes to leave such tweaks to its users
