hey, whats this 3.5 or 2.5 jack thing?? how does it affect the phone? and which one is better to have?
This was actually a very nice phone .. has 3G 3.2 megapixel plus the thing i like the most .. XpressMusic.... just that this phone doesnt have Wi-Fi ... if this phone does have wi-fi... for me .. this time... 5610 is the best nokia's phone... thats all.. thank you
nice phone...gooing to be 2 months with the phone and i am really happy just 1 ques. anybody who got the blue colour, just tell me has your colour faded since you bought it
aecee05, 17 Jun 2008hey guys....its going to be my first month w/ this fone 2morow.... im pretty happy with it... ... moreIf it does not happen again, I don't think you need to worry.
Operation failed during taking photo could mean that your memory card is not ready to save the photo. This could be just your memory card too slow or "hang", not the phone problem. My advice is to use a good quality, high speed memory card. For my phone, I use a 4GB microSDHC rated at Class-6 speed (>6MB/sec write speed) and my phone never have memory card problem.
hey guys....its going to be my first month w/ this fone 2morow.... im pretty happy with it... i only have one question... a while ago i was taking pictures when suddenly after i clicked the shutter i got "operation failed" as a response... but after i took another picture it was okay again.... do i have to worry or is it just a small "not-to-panic about problem???
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2008OMG!! thanks MaxG!! you are rly sweet and you know what you tawkin about... i realy want this ... moreI don't think we can say S60 or S40 which one is better, because it depends what you need and what you use your phone most often.
S60 phones are also called symbian smartphones. "Smart" because the software is powerful and capable to install and run "symbian" programs. Also, they can multi-task, ie you can "minimize" a program and run another program without closing the 1st program, just like a computer.
S40 phones are simpler, does not support symbian programs, but are faster and easier to use. The problem with S60 smartphones is slow response and sometimes shorter battery life, because the processor often gets busy by the programs it runs in the background. S40 phones do not have this problem.
In terms of other functions like making calls, listening music, watching video, taking photo/video, playing java games etc, S40 is always as good as S60 and sometimes better (faster).
Do you need to use symbian programs and multi-tasking? If yes then you should go for S60. Otherwise, S40 should be more suitable if you want a phone which is fast, easy and fun to use.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2008Hey guys!!!! GUESS WHAT!!!! theres a nokia 5710 apparently it got a 3.2mp and its S60 which th... moreThere was a rumor about 5710 which was said to be "upgraded version" of 5700 but the rumor never became true. Maybe it was cancelled, but you can still find some pictures from the internet.
However, Nokia has decided to make a new S60 music phone instead of "upgrading" the old 5700. The new phone I'm talking about is 5320, it is S60, it is XpressMusic, and it also supports N-gage gaming! And guess what, it's gonna be cheaper than 5610!
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2008Tanks maxG... but will the music still play if im using an application like MXIT or facebook??... moreI have not used MXIT or facebook on my phone so I don't know... but most of the time if the software needs to make any sound, then the music will sure pause. I have tried when using opera mini, the music will keep playing, but when I use eBuddy, the music will get paused.
Yes you can download theme for this phone. If you want, you can even create your own themes using Nokia Carbide UI.
